Nova-t 90002 BDA Drivers...

Are the drivers in the 2.1 package BDA drivers? I see hcw88bda.inf etc which would make me think so. But when the driver is installed under driver details there is no files with bda in them. ? :confused:

The card doesnt even work with wintv2k using the 2.1 package, but works fine using the 1.3, still doesnt work with gbpvr either.


Are there 3rd party bda drivers for this card like the 909etc? (Ive tried the ones from technotrend.de then realised I didnt have that card)

In the config, when I lick the Map digital channels button I get... "GB-PVR was unable to start the DBA device you have configured.... etc"

Yeah, that sounds like its not finding any BDA drivers.

Can you post you config.exe-native.log? That will tell us for sure.

For reference - all drivers for the 90002 version of the Nova-t are BDA drivers (urrrm not sure about v1.2 but I think so). Certainly from v1.3 onwards, when I started with the Nova-t, they have been.

Aye, seems like 1.3 have BDA too (hcw88bda.inf)

Might move back to 1.3 since that works with Wintv2k and has the same problem (as above) with gbpvr as 2.1

Sorry for the double post but...Having re-read your message I just spotted the above (and the fact you've had v1.3 drivers and presumably an older version of WinTV2000 installed).

Have you done the full PITA uninstall of everything using HCWCLEAR and manually uninstalling all apps. from Control Panel Add/Remove Programs ? Instructions are on the Digital Terrestrial forum on the Hauppauge site. If you haven't then you should try it.
