I had two DVB-T recordings finish at the same time (not sure if that is a factor). I have dvr-ms set as my BDA muxer option and auto-convert to mpeg2 also set. I got a popup box with an error (I've seen this once before).

The GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log shows...

The GBPVRConvert.exe-native.log shows no errors and it looks like the transcode actually did take place as I have a playable mpg file in the folder but the dvr-ms file wasn't deleted.

I clicked 'Ignore' on the error box BTW.

Where did the GBPVRConvert.exe-native.log log get up to? It might give some clues about where the problem occurred.

Did it actually complete if you clicked the 'ignore' button? The log looks successful.

I can't be sure but I think the time I clicked 'Ignore' matches this entry from the rec service log I posted above...

Code:
03/10/2005 00:45:29.312    INFO    [111]    File transcode has completed unsuccessfully...

I didn't click the ignore button straight away - I captured the screenshot then looked at what was going on, found the mpg was there and also the dvr-ms wasn't deleted then clicked ignore - it would have been quite a few minutes after I spotted the error box.

It seems to be a problem when two recordings finish at the same time. The first transcode completes and the dvr-ms is deleted. The second transcode also completes (an mpg file of the right size exists) but the error is generated and the dvr-ms file remains.

I've included the logs - I set three recordings going from 23:30 to 00:00 (all scheduled from TV Guide with 1min/5min pre/post padding). I checked at the PC monitor at around 00:10 and saw the error box. I clicked 'Ignore' at 00:13 after checking the various folders to see what had gone on so far.
