Hello
Is there a bug in the program or is something wrong on my end?
After the last update to version: 6.1.5.231022 I noticed a change in the overview - upcoming recordings.
Before: When I clicked on an upcoming recording (under recent recordings), I only got an overview of the film and an overview if I had already saved the same film...
After: When I clicked on an upcoming recording (under recent recordings), I only got an overview of all open / upcoming recordings as a list... (not a great overview for me...)
It would be great if someone could help!
Thanks!!!!
Tearing my hair out on this issue that I can't pinpoint the cause if anyone wise might take a look, the steam gets stopped anywhere from a couple of minutes to roughly 2 hours and I can not find any pattern as a loaded up network or such in regards to if it will work for long or not.
The setup is NextPVR version 6.1.5.231022 installed on Ubuntu 22.04, source is minisatIP with a TBS quad tuner running as a docker on the same server. Behaviour is the same regardless if the streams are to Kodi or Jellyfin as client. If I in Kodi set the streaming method to transcode it does seem to be alot more stable but that's not a viable solution right now as I don't have hardware transcoding.
Hello collective,
I am working on a project that I will be posting soon. I am wondering if NextPVR can call the output of windows media player as an Extra, and if so how would I go about it?
NextPVR and media player would be running on the same machine.
Yesterday I finally got my fiber internet service connected. They also supplied a new router; Giga Spire Blast model u6.2. Specs look like it's a real winner. However, I have a small problem with it.
From the NPVR server homescreen, if I select TV Guide, Recordings, Scheduler, etc., it takes 20 seconds before I see the results. Using my old Netgear router it's almost instantaneous; using either the Comcast or Fiber ISP line. It appears to me as though it has to do with the Giga Spire setup.
I'm not a network specialist, and there's a ton of settings there.
If anyone can suggest what area I should be looking at I'd sure appreciate it.
Thanx.
My NextPVR is installed on a VPS, and I want to migrate it to another VPS offshore.
More specifically it is installed currently on a Oracle VPS in Johannesburg, and I suspect that server gets overloaded times, and I get buffering, especially in the evenings SA time, so want to migrate it to Amsterdam, where performance has always been better. I don't want to reinstall everything, as everything is set up in a specific way, so was hopeful to either export configuration, or copy the files with the configuration stored, such as channels, and EPG lists. and then re-import it on the new machine, and I could simply change the IP address of the new VPS, to that of the old one.
If it's not possible, I would rather NextPVR remain hosted in Johannesburg, than set up from scratch.
Maybe my search skill are fail, but are there special instructions for setting up NextPVR for multiple clients?
I have NextPVR installed on a Win10 box running Kodi (with Hauppauge 4-tuner card and HD antenna for OTA channels), and on 2x Raspberry Pi boxes running OSMC / Kodi. All work fine until somebody tries to watch a different TV channel on one of the other devices while a TV channel is already playing on one of the other devices.
To say another way, I can be watching a TV channel on the Win10 Kodi box but my wife can't watch a different channel at the same time on one of the Raspberry Pi boxes. The remote box can tune the same channel though.
I just reloaded windows, and reinstalled next PVR.
Whatever channel I choose, I’m getting “No tuner was available for the requested channel.”
I attach the logs in the hope that somebody can tell you what I’ve done wrong.
