Hello.

Analog TV Tuner Zoltrix Genie Wonder Pro added an entry to the AnalogDevice.xml configuration file

I recently installed NextPVR, as my SageTV is becoming increasingly unreliable.
But I don't see any video from my STBs, I've tried Analog #1, Analog #3 and Analog #2, Analog #4. SageTV uses Analog #2 and Analog #4, so I assumed NextPVR would be the same. I've tried different video decoders, but still no picture. Sage server is turned off BTW. The guide (Schedules Direct) works and USBUIRT is kinda working now (changes more than one zone sometimes). Once I get a picture, I'll being setting up XBMC for my clients.
I've been looking over the wiki and searching some threads and I'm not clear on this. I've read about sharehelper and recording service limitations and using the path rather than the mapped drive, but I'm not sure I understand these options well enough, I'm not sure if they always work but I do know that my attempts have failed.
I'm using W7 64, 3.2.9 across a regular home network to a W8 64 machine. Mapping and sharing works great for all other purposes.
Occassionally I will experience some stuttering/choppy playback on my TS files.
I believe it happens after switching between a downloaded MP4, MKV, etc., and the normal cable channel TS files.
I assume this has to do with the wrong decoder/resolution/frame rate being selected?
I can correct the problem by exiting and restarting NPVR.
(I tried the AutoRefresh plugin but that didn't seem to help)
Is there an easier way for me to "reset" the app without having to exit/restart?
When streaming using the H264/MP4A/MPEG-TS preset in Streamer Transcode Options: I'm getting video but no sound. This is the case when streaming to my iPhone and also when streaming to a PC on my LAN. Could I be missing some software or something else to deal with the audio?
Also, I tried within Trans Opts to use the Manual Options settings to mimic the Preset but when I chose H264 from the Video Encoder drop-down, the Manual Streamer Transcode Options: box simply disappears dropping me back to Streamer Transcode Options:. Keeping the encoder set at Default is all I am able to do.
Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks!
PS: I'm doing this using the Guide.aspx web page rather than the Guide2.aspx web page. This is because Guide2.aspx page is difficult to naviagte with my iPhone.
hi,
i am using a technotrend-usb-tuner for scheduled recording of dvb-c. my system runs win7 x64 and the latest npvr.
it's running fine.
....but:
after scheduled recording my tuner remains active as well as ndigitalhost.exe-process. closing the process manually frees and switches off the tuner. the same happens in suspend mode: the tuner stays active, waking up switches it off (edit: ndigitalhost keeps running!).
i suppose the nrecord- process should regularly close ndigitalhost after recording.
the logs say at 2:18(end of recording) that postprocessing.bat is missing.
has anyone an idea why this problem occurs and how i can resolve it?
shall i close ndigitalhost using postprocessing.bat?
edit: using 'taskkill' in postprocessing.bat helps but can't be the solution. perhaps it's a driver-issue.

I have to move the server with internal digital tv-card to a location without tv-connection so I'm considering a hdhomerun.
But I have digital encrypted channels that I now decrypt with a softcam (smargo cardreader and newcs, all in windows 7) for my internal tv-card.
Does this work the same (in windows) for a hdhomerun or do I need to this (decrypt with newcs) in linux?
I am a newby and have spent hours setting up the NextPVR. I have searched the forums, but cannot seem to solve my problem.
I have a hauppauge 2250 dual tuner. I have setup the tuners such that I have 2 QAM devices showing up on the device screen - each with the 5 channels that I am trying to watch. They say Type QAM and "Hauppauge WinTV-7164 BDA ATSC/QAM Tuner" and Type QAM "Hauppauge WinTV-7164 BDA ATSC/QAM Tuner"(#2) Present and Enabled with 5 channels.
I have setup the guide and can watch all 5 channels. However, if I record one channel and try to watch a different channel or try to record 2 channels at the same time I get an error saying that there is not a capture device available.
