I just switched from cable to an antenna. I previously used mc2xml for my EPG. When I scanned ATSC channels for my new setup it showed DVB/ATSC EPG for the new channels. TV Guide displays less than 24 hours, now.
Can I change mc2xml for broadcast channel EPG and continue to use that, or, is there someway to modify DVB/ATSC EPG to display a longer schedule period?
I am running win7 64bit, xbmc frodo, and nextpvr. Recently, xbmc has been giving me the tuner no longer available message. I can see it start to access the stream, since the npvr icon turns red, but it eventually turns white again and times out. This started after xbmc lost connectivity to the service, and the plugin was disabled. I re-enabled the plugin, and this has been happening ever since. Here's my nrecord.log:

<Overview>Big Brother, which began in 2000, has become an annual tradition for fans; every summer they are treated to new houseguests, new challenges, and new evictions! Here's how the game works: each week, there is a Head of Household challenge, where all of the players compete for the power in the house. The HoH then nominates two other houseguests for eviction. Several days later, a Power of Veto competition is held, where six players (the HoH, the nominees, and three guests) attempt to win the Golden Power of Veto, which gives the bearer the power to "veto," or cancel, one of the HoH's nominations, forcing the HoH to nominate someone else (other than the Veto bearer) for eviction. Then, in the weekly live eviction, the houseguests vote to send someone out of the house for good. Along the way are Luxury competitions and Food contests (which, if the houseguests do not win, results in PB&J for the week), all leading up to the show's finale, where a panel of sequestered jurors vote for a winner, who receives half a million dollars!</Overview>

I noticed that it is pulling season 3 information for some reason, if you look in the log file. I'm also getting an issue where this show, and this show only, is showing duplicates in XBMC. I believe it is from the nfo file not matching up with the .ts file's name. Any help would be appreciated!
Just curious really. Amazon have been making a lot of noise about it being their first phone. Apparently it was released on Friday in the US. Just wondering if anyone has gone for it.
Hi everyone. I was wandering why some of my channels were breaking up and that i could not get all of them when scanning for channels. I tested this by buying a new usb tuner and ran the software and picked every channel and no breakups. So i tested the other three tuners and all picked up the channels. So this led me to it being a software type error with NPVR. When i selected country = australiaa and city = brisbane, i could only get half the channels and some were'nt that good with qaulity. So then i selected australia and all locations and then i got all the channels and perfect qaulity. Including sbs which is usually a problem chaannel for everyone.
Does this mean that australia/brisbane has oudated chaannel frequencies ? and does it need updating as a few changes has happened on australian channels - digital over the last two years. BTW when testing each tuner they get 100% reception on all channels when i used my test software.
All channels are ow working since i selected australia-all locations. I live in brisbane.
Thoughts ?
Thanks guys and love your product.
I have some shows that have no downloaded artwork because I think they are kind of ambiguous. Two examples are Wipeout and MasterChef that when I look them up on thetvdb they are listed as Wipeout (US) and MasterChef (US). Is there any way to do a manual match in NPVR so the artwork can be downloaded? Thanks.
Sub, I went on to the forum a few times today and twice Firefox 31 tried to install software automagically. Is there anyway you can tell Google about this?
No digital channels are showing up in NVPR 3.2.9 (*installed on a Xp PRO SP3 box)
What I have done so far to fix the problem:
- Using NPVRSetup 3.2.9 with a HDHomeRun Dual *(OTA only)
(*theses are the only PVR/TV software program's installed on the machine)
- ChannelMaster 4221HD Terrestrial Antenna being used. It is the only signal source for Tuner 0.
- I am using "Tuner 0" on the HD-Homerun, "Tuner 1" has been disabled and capped (*terminated)
- I can see all my ATSC channels in the HD-HomeRun Setup program.
- I've excluded (*allowed) the Nrecord, Nnpvr and NDigitalhost programs in Windows Xp PRO SP3 firewall.
- I've opened (*forwarded) ports 8968, 8866, 7969 on my router.
- I've tried scanning several times with all the device software listed (Other: ATSC-QAM and NVPR)
- For testing purposes, the Windows Firewall is COMPLETELY disabled now ...
- MediaPortal TV Server (*My previous PVR/TV software) has been uninstalled
and all references have been removed from Windows and the registry.
Results, so far:
HD-Homerun Setup finds ALL digital channels INSTANTLY!
NO digital channels are found in NPVR! The SCAN's are BLANK!
HELP! I've been at this since Saturday night!(July 27th), It's mak'in me krazy!
*Please see a zipped copy of my NVPR log's attached
Box Details:
Windows Xp PRO SP3
Intel E8400
HD-Homerun Dual (HDHR-101CAD3F)
*No Analog Tuners are installed ... only the HD-Homerun
Please let me know if you need more info, Thanks in advance.
*Edit: I am using K-Lite Codecs MEGA Pack

Hi All!
Following all of your suggestions, I finally got it working. What I did :
- I disabled the Xp PRO firewall with the following at the command prompt.
" netsh firewall set opmode disable "
- I ran PING and TRACERT to make sure I had a connection to the HD-Homerun DUAL
- I changed Hd-Homerun Setup to OTHER: QAM/ATSC and HD-HOMERUN QUICK TV
- I updated the Windows components in HD-Homerun Setup -> Advanced -> Repair/Reinstall Windows Comnponents
(* I think this is what did it, maybe HD-Homerun can't see the NPVR installation until it is reinstalled?)
- I REBOOTED the OS
- When I got back to the desktop, I ran a Channel SCAN and it found all the channels!
