Hi,
Not really sure this is the right place for the question - but I couldn't see anywhere jumping out at me in the forum list...
I'd like to convert the file that nPVR records to a format viewable on my iPod.
I have successfully converted files using ffmpeg - however even though the files created will play on my computer, they don't play on the iPod.... does anyone know of a command line that will tell ffmpeg to encode with settings for the iPod 5?
Is there a tutorial or wiki on how to setup comskip with Gotham and NextPVR?
I have post processing running and generating a .txt and .edl file for each recording. However, playing it back via XBMC Gotham RC1 does not do anything. Is there a setting that I am missing?
NextPVR 3.2.9 with the latest patches is running on its own server separate from the XBMC client. I am using the NextPVR builtin PVR that came with RC1.
I've always just used Acronis to backup my VS project folders in case I seriously mess up any code files and I need to backtrack and start again (doesn't happen often but I've done it a few times over the years).
For Android / Java development I use Eclipse IDE which has a GIT style plugin and I'm wondering if there are any similar solutions for VS2010 Express that anyone would recommend.
I use the web radio plugin constantly since it allows me to enjoy a selection of classical stations. When one of the stations indicates the current item on their playlist I get that information in two spots: centered across the bottom in legible type; and, in a little white box on the bottom right of the screen in type too small to read but which often overlaps the bottom centered info. How can I get rid of the little white box? I can make it go away by hitting the fast forward button on the remote but it would be nicer if it just never appeared at all. I do want to keep the bottom centered one, however.
I have an HDHR3-CC, I subscribe to schedulesdirect and have Charter cable. If I go to channels, right click NextPVR screen, I see my listings and these include BBC America. I can't map channel 133 BBC America because my mapping only shows channels up to ch 67 SciFi. How do I get to map channels above 67? Thanks.
Is there any way to determine which tuner (in a multiple tuner system) was used to create a recording? I am getting an occasional "0" file recording. I understand that this is generally due to the tuner being unable to lock on the signal (I am recording OTA with a roof antenna). I would like to know which tuner (I have 3 USB tuners) was being used for the failed recordings, in order to determine if there is any pattern to the failed recordings, such as a weak or defective tuner, or if they are just random. I have looked at the NextPVR logs but did not see any info the would tell me which tuner was used for which recording. Is there any way to determine which tuner was used for which recording?
Auckland NZ DVB-T Channel frequency restack has occurred 1st May
The Kordia Mux (prime etc.) has moved frequency
e.g. on Auckland's Waiatarua transmitter the Kordia mux frequency has moved from 666MHz to 602MHZ and the new WTV MUX has been broadcasting on 586MHZ
A scan with "New Zealand - All Regions.ini" tuning profile will pick up the moved frequencies,
or the Auckland NZ specific tuning ini's will now need to be modified by editing frequency.
C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-T\New Zealand - Auckland (Waiatarua).ini infill..etc
A big Please Sub to update these NZ ini's when he can
"New Zealand - Auckland (Waiatarua).ini"
[TERTYPE]
1=New Zealand
2=Auckland (Waiatarua)
I realize this is not a NPVR problem but I'm wondering if any other users are playing flac files through NPVR? I'm using the unlocked SAF6 codec and I can hear the flac files but their volume level is extremely low, so I have to really crank up the receiver I use for audio. I can do that easily enough but I'm just wondering if there is a way to balance the volume level of flac files a little closer to that of other files. My receiver volume level doesn't show on my TV so it's a guessing game to get close to the various levels. I've done enough Googling on the subject to know others have this problem, I just haven't run across a solution.
