Is there any way to get UIDroid to display in Full/High DPI? The long-press D-Pad centre options are fairly limited and making changes to the NLite Client on the host doesn't reflect on UIDroid.
I don't have time to take photos right now, but the icon/text scaling is fairly poor for a 4K display. I'm using the app on a FireTV stick.
I can post photos to better explain what I mean by this if need be.
I suppose my main question is
1. Is there a way to make UIDroid display in high DPI mode, similar to the desktop client
2. If not, can this be added
I am using webgrab++ to create an xmltv file. The file lists channels from both Sweden and Finland. NextPVR shows the Finnish channels correctly, but the Swedish channels are shown two hours earlier than they should be.
The xmltv file uses UTC with adjustment for time zone, e.g the Finnish entries are + 3 hours and the Swedish entries are + 2 hours.
Any ideas why the Swedish entries are being shown presumably in UTC without adjustment?
Hi,
about 3 or 4 weeks ago i upgrade Kodi and got the incompatibility issue with the old NextPVR add in. After a couple of tries I managed to upgrade to the latest NextPVR.
Everything was fine but during the middle of night for some reason Kodi decided that look for the old version and as it wasn't compacity disabled the nextPvr add on.
Rebooted Kodi, tried to add in the add-on. But no luck.
I tried opening the NextPVR web UI NextPVR. The recordings were those i had made while on the old NextPR version. I tried watching a channel but just got a blackbox.
I opened up control panel and uninstalled anything with the name NexPRV on.
I then ran the update url which downloaded the files and installed NextPVR again.
It all works. All the Devices were already there as were the channels.
I have no idea why at midnight NextPVR failed. The EPG does run at midnight but nothing in the logs.
Hello,
I tried multiple records, and every is terminated after a couple of minutes.
When I watch live with VLC, everything is running smoothly.
ffmpeg exited??? Why? "Likely end of VOD." is unlikely, while a break for a second or so happens quite often in IPTV.
The log file for one of the failed records:
i am running CoreELEC latest stable version 20.2 Nexus on an Odroid N2+.
i run NextPVR docker container and am running Version: 6.1.4.230625 . i am using latest NextPVR client from CoreELEC repo v8.2.0.
i have migrated Kodi to run on SSD from one of the USB ports, it runs Maria DB considerably faster than the SD did, however, i get random crashes, even after several clean installs.
i am going to take this up on the CoreELE forum. i see the below errors about GetChannelGroupMembers repeating often in Kodi log. I am pretty sure this is not related to my issues and not an issue at all, as the same error was there when i was running on SD without any crashes, but for sure the CoreELEC guys will ask me about them. Is this expected? Does anyone know what causes the below, or see similar errors in Kodi logs?

Hi. I am trying to import a recordings file (xml). I get an error message "Import failed. Not logged in". A solution has been published, fixing IPV6 with a dll file (https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=64964).
I work under docker, installed on a synology NAS. Is there a solution to this problem, should the dll file be installed and where/how to install it?
Thanks.
Hi
i use a Raspberry pi 4 8 GB with Debian Bullseye 11 OS 64 bit (Raspberry pi OS), Hauppauge WinTV Dual-HD and NextPVR 6.1.2.230502. I have tested that NextPVR cannot show or record 2 different DVB-C Danish channels simultaneously. It seems that NextPVR also sometimes does not release the last seen channel correctly and a scheduled recording start and then another scheduled on different channel is due to start after then the second recording will just be denied and a http 500 message shows up. Can this problem be solved thanks?
I was discussing this problem in another older and closed thread. Sorry can't find it. Was involving not being able to delete supposedly corrupt files?
Problem. At random times some shows will not delete. Have been waiting for the problem to show up again as it's very random.
When this happens nothing can delete the file. Not within normal NPVR program use OR using any Windows OS means. Even tried an elevated cmd prompt to delete it. Only get "Can not delete - File in use". Safe mode etc. no help. Only way I was able to finally delete the file(s) was to shut down Nextpvr, and shut down the NPVR server. I can then use normal Windows file explorer to find and delete the show.
Last few days I've had two shows that are now having this problem So today I tried to delete them several times within Nextpvr (no joy) and then saved the logs. So last minute or so of attached logs show my attempts to delete. I know from past experiences, I've had them listed in my recorded shows for weeks and could not delete them until I shut down Nextpvr and turned off the Npvr server.
So today I once again had to shut down npvr app and it's server and then manually delete one of the programs. then restart the PC. And now the one (of two) problems shows is finally deleted. I left the remaining "stuck in limbo" show in my recorded shows for further testing if needed. Attached are the logs.
Where it could not be loaded it appears to corrupt/delete the settings and disable the Add-on, to resolve I reenter the settings, Save, Quit, Restart, Enable, if I don't Quit/Restart then Kodi will crash. Logs for this scenario:
