Hello,
I have installed Nlite on a couple machines and the first machine I have been able to wake Nlite from the screensaver screen with simply pressing the escape key. On the second machine I have to press a mouse button. What have I done wrong for it to only wake from a mouse button. For the life of me I cannot figure it out.
Please advise.
Thank you,
Bruce
I have a M3U playlist for IPTV
Few of them (2-3) are failing to play on Next PVR while they work perfectly fine when the M3U file is played with Video LAN
I attached the log files from a fresh NextPVR install to avoid any noise
If needed I can share privately an extract of the M3U containing 2 failing and 1 working channel
Moving existing Nexpvr over to new PC. While storing files from old system to import later, saw something strange and have a question.
Was copying my old config, Npvr.db3 and Recorded shows over to Users\public\NPVR folder and found another folder named NPVR-data on the old PC. According to the Wiki I should be using the old PC's "NPVR" folder for sourcing the files to move. The files in the NPVR-DATA folder are the ones currently being used and the other NPVR folder looks like it hasn't been written to or used for some time.
I'm curious why there are two folders? Could the older NPVR Folder be from an old vs 4 that was left over when I upgraded to vs 6? And why is the Wiki referring to the NPVR folder instead of the NPVR-data folder? I haven't installed NPVR on the new PC yet and I just want to be sure I'm using the right data set. I've copied the NPVR.db3, etc from the NPVR-DATA which has the more recent file dates. Just curious why I have two folders with identical contents (other than dates) that are different names.
Also I want to leave the existing old system with it's NextPVR intact but not started until I can be sure the new PC is working okay. Do I need to uninstall the NextPVR from the old PC? I'd like to be able to revert back to the old system if needed.
Thanks again for a great piece of software and support service on here.
I have NPVR running as I want on my unraid server and have created a reverse proxy to navigate to the webUI when away from home.
I would like to use the same reverse proxy address to access on the iOS/ATV apps but when I put in my address the port number is automatically added to the end of the address instead of the reverse proxy forwarding to the required port.
This causes the apps to fail to connect. Is there a way around this?
A satellite scan is not picking up most of the HD channels, all the BBC and ITV's ones. I get SportystuffHD QVCHD GBNews and a handful of others.
I have updated the 0280.ini transponder list to the lastest from kingofsat.
I have DVBviewer and Mediaportal installed that have no problem picking up any HD channles or ever had any signal strength issues. I've disabled both of those apps while I scan in case they were interfering.
My server is a Win7 PC with a Technotrend DVB-S2 sat card with BDA driver.
I did a search but did not find this specific issue, so apologies if I missed it.
Playback will momentarily freeze anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes after starting or changing channels, then resume. I am using NextPVR as both the backend and add-on for Kodi v20.2 on a Win10 PC.
I dropped the pertinent log below. This behavior does not occur with my Raspberry Pi units running OSMC / Kodi which use NextPVR / Win10 PC as the backend.
My recording setup involves using a Hauppauge HDPVR2 to record DRM channels from my settop box. Works well. The problem I have is that NextPVR does not import DRM channels when setting up a new HDPVR2, even though NextPVR can "tune" DRM channels using its infrared driver to change the settop box's channel. I have discovered no way to assign DRM channels to the HDPVR2 other than a tedious manual operation of manipulating the database directly. V4 did allow manual channel additions quite easily.
Is there a way to manually add a channel to a V6 device? Any suggestions?
Hi, not sure where to start finding the issue/solution
I have an IPTV provider which I have been able to load into the latest NextPVR server without issue. It imported all the channels successfully.
After this I connected the latest KODI version with the latest NextPVR client on a Nvidea shield and am able to watch the channels.
At the same time I did the same for an android tv box, which successfully shows the channels, but when I try playing one, it gives me a "Failed with code 404" error in the KODI log. Even if I select the same channel running on the Shield without issues.
So I also tried stopping the play on the Shield and try opening the same channel on the Android tv box, but still the same issue.
I also tried running the same channel on both the Shield and in the NextPVR Server web page, and both run without issue at the same time.
NextPVR Server log does not show any errors either.
Not sure how to proceed from here. Any idea what the issue can be and how to resolve this issue?
