When I try to add Schedules Direct Lineup to a particular channel the search button doesn't do anything. I saw someone say you must be using the browser from the server NextPVR is located but still nothing. I'm obviously missing something.
I've had a problem over the last several releases where the .map file from recordings remains after the recording is deleted. This doesn't happen for every recording and seems random.
It's not a huge problem but that left over file pops up in my emby web server (only used very occasionally) as a series with no recordings (probably cause the series folder still exists rather than the map file). Most of the time I use Kodi as the front-end and that is what triggers the delete.
I've been clearing these files manually but is it possible to add a scheduler that deletes the map files for recordings that no longer exist or fix the root cause if it can be tracked down?
1. Default time format is day/month/year
is there way to change format like day-month-year or year/month/day
2. after I updated EPG 3 channels are missing.
I can't find those channels on the "edit channel details"
I've already check xml file and other 3rd party clients work wthout problem.
Dear forum!
Maybe i've missed a posting with the right solution for my problem - pls gimme a hint.
Situation: I used to have SAT over IP throught my Fritzbox 6660 where my WindowsPC with NextPVR could record up to 4 streams simultaniously. Without knowingly changing anything NextPVR lost all devices and refuses to work with the m3u files i provide to VLC without any probs. Even an update to the most resent version the other day did not help. Crawling through the log files didn't help me either.
What is going on? Why did NextPVR cease working? Why can't i get it running again.
Desperate for help
CableSignal
PS: tvhd.m3u is just one part of a bigger file but doesn't work either. It is provided by the fritzbox 6660 attached to an austrian cable company. Normal TV, VLC on PC does work like a charm.
PPS: I just saw that my uploade m3u file vanished. If it is needed AND someone explains to me how i could upload the file ...
Not sure whats caused this. Any client would just crash/timeout and show no servers available so im guessing backend issue. Logs attached. Restart has solved the problem for now.
I recently got both a Raspberry Pi 4B for a personal project to bring Mexican channels to the US, which will be completed in December, but upon connecting the tuner, it doesn't show up on NextPVR settings even though it shows up in dmesg...

And I also used TVHeadend to compare both software, however it actually detected the thing.
It detected fine on my Windows machine, why not my Pi?
Just a short query regarding suggestions for my particular use case.
I'd intend to use NextPVR through Kodi clients on any one of 2 windows PCs and a RPi 4- it's primarily 5000-6000 IPTV channels, no VODs, and no intention of recording TV. Ideally I would like the server to run 24/7.
I use a customised m3u link where some channels have XML EPG data assigned and the rest through schedules direct.
Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
Unhandled exception. System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (2): An error occurred trying to start process 'ffmpeg' with working directory '/Applications/NPVR'. No such file or directory
I'm trying to scan for some new/updated channels on my HDHR Flex 4k, and NPVR is never returning any channels from the scan no matter what tuner I try.
I've attached my log. It shows some kind of failure saying the scanner isn't available. BTW, I didn't choose any guide for mapping, but even when I do it still doesn't work.
I should mention that everything else is fine. I can watch channels on any tuner, and I can see the status of a tuner when it's active.
