Hi, im using madVR as the renderer for the latest 3.1.1 nextpvr and its not working as expected. When i open nextpvr its in a small window which i have to resize for madvr to display properly as it seems to only display the upper left corner of the tv channnel. With the EVR renderer i never had to do that but iv stopped using EVR as it was causing way too high DPC latency. In fullscreen the nextpvr osd never disappears which again was not a problem with the EVR renderer.
If i could just get the OSD to disappear id be happy but any help would be great.
It's my birthday next month and I'm notoriously bad with coming up with ideas for presents I'd like but I figured an Android dongle with HDMI output, bluetooth and wifi might be fun to play around with.
There are quite a few out there but I've no idea how good any of them are. If anyone has suggestions at around the £50 price tag and running at least Android v4.x I'd be interested to know.
I see that 3.1.1 supports streaming commercial skipping data to XBMC. Does it work in XBMC already or does the NextPVR add-on have to be updated?
Also, would it be possible to stream an srt in a similar way? I ask because I find it much easier to rip out teletext subtitles to srt during show postprocessing and display those subtitles than displaying the live teletext subtitles.
So I like Walking dead and fast and loud. I record the entire seasons for both. The thing is I want to record all Walking dead episodes no matter what but fast and loud only if Walking dead is not being recorded. I don't see and a option to do that. I moved from Mythtv(where i could prioritize shows) when comcast pushed a dta on my that will not work with any of the blasters that I have tried in lirc. But it work great in Windows. So long story short. I have one tuner. Is there a way to prioritize reoccurring shows?
When I try to record a non-clear QAM channel (i.e. Cable Card required), I get a "No tuner is available to record the requested show. ..." message. The only show listed in the "Dont record:" list is the one that I'm trying to record. I tested both with the NMT client and on the server. Both give the same results. Logs are attached. I couldn't see any sort of error messages in either the mvp.log or the npvr.log files indicating that it tried to schedule a recording. The DCR-2650 appears to be working OK. I can access it's web page and look at its logs, etc.
Hi. Thanks for writing this cool plugin. I'm in the process of trying to move from SageTV to NPVR. I'd like to know if it is possible to provide feedback via the guide for programs that were previously watched. I'm unsure if NPVR tracks this or not. If so, would it be possible to mimic what SageTV does in the guide and show the already watched programs titles in italic font? This makes it REALLY easy to tell if you've seen the program or not.
Also, is it possible to move the video overlay (currently playing program) and the detailed show description to the top of the screen rather than at the bottom?
Just upgraded my server and clients to 3.1.1. Generally all seems to be well, but I have a reoccurrence of a problem with one specific channel on UK Freesat. The problem is related to this:- http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ic-channel. Unicode characters are embedded around the program titles in the OTA schedule. Those characters are causing the playback to just display a blank screen with no audio. If I play the .ts file outside of NPVR, it plays perfectly well.
Whereas before, the problem was on recorded programs, now it is on live TV as well. I presume this is because now the temporary file carries the name of the program rather than the channel. The file in the temp directory seems to have stripped the Unicode characters, but the debug window shows that it thinks it is playing a file with the Unicode in place.
I can post process a recorded program to strip the Unicode characters, but is there any way of modifying the program name on the fly so the live TV plays as well.
sorry for being late with releasing a plugin compatible with the new npvr version, but my time is quite limited at the moment, so I did not follow the pre-release announcements recently.
I made some adjustments to be compatible with .net 4 and the updated SQlite assembly. However, since there might still be some flaws and myself still runing npvr 2.6, I'd like to make the updated version available as 'beta' here first.
Changes include:
Code:
- added logic to activate listings screen during video playback on F1 key if plugin is configured as default guide
- added changes to TheMovieDB integration to reflect upcoming API changes
- upgraded to .NET 4.0 for NPVR 3
There are no skin or database related changes, so you can just replace the TV Listings.dll file when upgrading.
Thrilled to see the EPG based timeshift feature, love having the buffer recorded!
Unfortunately, it causes XBMC to crash when I hit record while watching live tv. Have to resort to ctrl-alt-del to kill XBMC. Does the XBMC addon need to be updated?
