During plugin start-up, debugger mode shows that the channel information is being pulled, but then hangs and forces TV to reboot (this is a recurring problem).
I've tried to completely remove the plugin (with TV reboot) and re-sync from start (several times now). However this does not seem to resolve the problem.
What I'll try next is to remove all my channels from nextpvr but leave 1 channel.
Should reduce the load and check if it's a time-out issue.
I'm still doing a few tweaks, but I have my Raspberry Pi running as a client for my NPVR.
I have an HD TV with no network capability connected to an SD receiver, so I stream live TV and watch recorded TV through the server to get high-def. I haven't had any issues with stuttering, even running full 1080i over wi-fi. I don't really watch live TV for much more than an hour or so, so maybe I'm not taxing the set-up as much as others.
Recorded TV plays with a stutter, but it isn't consistent, and I suspect that it may be the hard drive cache; the stream doesn't seem glitched if I copy it to my Synology NAS and play it from there. I'm going to try a separate drive for OS and recordings when I get the time.
I've used this to watch one item, and then attempted to watch Live TV.
This just sat there, so thought it must have not been implemented so exited (as it petty much hung on the please wait for live TV to start dialog)
When I entered next time got a black screen with 'Please wait while plugin loads'
From there I can bring the debug window up using the disc menu button.
The only way to fix this was reset the smart hub settings and download again.
I then used it for a little but, and the next time I entered again, back to the same plugin screen
When I have the debug window up I can see my key presses, and can see it loading my lists of recordings as I move through the menu, but I can't see the result.
I am using a Hauppauge Tuner WinTV HVR-2250. NPVR sees the tuners but does not find any channels on scan. I know that the tuners are working because if several tests. what could be the problem I am running Windows 8 Pro on a dell XPS 8500. Help Please. Had no errors on installation of the card or software all went smoothly.
By default "Quick Record" or "Record" both make a single recording of the selected EPG item. Is it possible to change the default for "Record" to be "Record Season (All episodes on this Channel)" in the config file?
Hi
I've got some channels which the EPG comes for with the transmission... and a couple - HD channels where I use an XML file as the source... is it possible to tell nextPVR to only update the channels with XML source... sometimes this is useful for me.
I would like to use this card DVBSky S952 DVB-S2 Twin Dual in my windows 7 pc for recording and watching tv at the same time using nextpvr as backend for xbmc. Has anyone achieved this with this hardware? Is it possible at all to do recording and watching at the same time in nextpvr (xbmc) by using 2 singals that way?
Hello,
I've gone through all the docs & guides I can find but I'm obviously not getting something.
I've installed a Colossus card in my Windows 8 PC & have it connected to a Directv box.
The colossus is listed in the "devices" section of settings as present and enabled.
The input sources are set to component and RCA audio input.
My channel changer is set to Haupblast. I've configured and tested blastcfg.
I've set up just one channel for testing purposes.
When I go to livetv, I see the blaster flashing but there is no image on the screen and no sound.
What have I missed?
Thanks,
I.
I recently upgraded my HTPC to windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Before then I didn't have any issues with NPVR (running on Win7 32 bit Pro), it's been running great since my first install back when it was GBPVR.
My tuner card is the Pinnacle PCTV Dual Sat PCI (4000i), which has 2 satellite digital tuners on board.
I am running NPVR 2.6.2.
Since the upgrade to 64bit, the second tuner has not worked. I get a 'unable to start device' error when I try to scan. I originally thought I had broken the card when the cable input snapped off. I have since bought a new card, but having the same issue...
To be honest, not sure whether it is the upgrade to 64bit or the update of NPVR to the latest version at the time.
Log attached, if anyone can be so kind as to have a look and see it there is anything in there showing the issue.

I have uninstalled and updated the card drivers several times, thinking that might have been the issue etc.
