Thought I'd try the new release to see if client freezes had been fixed.
Tried giving it a hard time by running two concurrent live tv streams of the same channel, and was running fine for approx 1hr 30 until 21.59 when both clients froze.

If you are using NextPVR v2.6.2, the nDroid download screen may hang showing...

Hi, can anyone recommend a USB RF remote? Needs to be RF because the PC is in a cupboard. Most importantly it needs to wake from standby with the remote.
I've previously used an Emprex one which was perfect functionally, but the remote kept breaking. I've had (and broken) 2, and I'd get another but they were hard to come by last time I checked Ebay.
Most recently been using an X10 remote, which occasionally wakes from standby, but is too hit and miss to be reliable and useful.
UK availability and modest price also important....
I have a HDHomeRun Dual on Windows 8 Pro. The HDHomeRun and N-PVR channel scans work perfectly. My Main Application is set to NextPVR. I can watch and hear live TV fine in QuickTV, but get nothing in N-PVR. VLC (preview) and XBMC (streams) work fine. The same issue (no audio or video) occurs in Media Center, with it saying that the "Service is unavailable". I thought it might be codecs, so I installed unlocked SAF, but nothing changed. The necessary Windows Firewall apps are let through (NextPVR and NRecord). Any idea as to what's wrong?
The program 2.6.2 works fine with Terratec cinergy c-pci hd tuner card and only thing I can't figure out how to set it to put the computer to the hibernation after recording? I must use the hibernation not sleep because my BR drive is not recognized from sleep mode but only from hibernation. With the default software from terratec hibernation works OK. I want to use nextpvr because it has some features the the original has not.

Downloaded 2.6.2 open NPVR and have a black screen right click and go to settings go to device and it sees my HDHomerun primes 3 tuners Scans locates channels.
I get a block box. Right click and select live tv and get nothing
Go to channels and the channels box pops up click on a channel and get not responding message and box goes away
Go to Open File and select a video and it plays.
Please advise

XBMC picks up the HDHR prime in UPNP and I can watch live TV under the video section
When I try use Live TV and click a channel I get a NextPVR PVR Client tuner not available.
Hi everyone. Since this is my first post, I'll start by saying thank you to sub and all his supporters here whose hard work has made such a great DVR experience possible. I can't imagine going back to regular TV!
With that done, here's the problem:
NPVR is not loading any video decoder for either live tv or recording playback. I am using FFDShow, but others I've tried don't work either. I get sound, but no video.
I believe the problem is that I cannot re-register codecs using the provided tool. Running normally causes regsvr32 to return a permissions error, and as Admin returns a message that the module cannot be found.
The problem began when I installed a program called Doubletwist, which looks like it added a bunch of new VC_RED versions.
Here's what I've tried so far:
-removed all VC_RED versions, including the one specified in the prereqs in the wiki.
-uninstalled NPVR
-uninstalled FFDShow
-reinstalled VC_RED from wiki
-reinstalled FFDShow
-reinstalled NPVR
Needless to say, this didn't solve the problem. I still can't register codecs. I'm kind of stuck here, guys. Any help would be great!

Sub's new MS DTV-DVD patch from last week, which I just now found, is working great! Although it is the only one that works. I did some deep searching on this one, so I might be the only person to have this problem. It would be cool to solve it, but maybe your powerful brains would be better used elsewhere.

I removed most of the TVListings messages from the log because I have a lot of channels and they made it much harder to read.
Was succesful with previous version - I tried installing this new version - did stop the old service, and since have totally removed any service, regardless, once installed, I get this error when launching the config tool:
