I have a Ceton/SageDCT/Network Recorder/NPVR setup and while recordings work fine -- LiveTV rarely does. As requested in reference thread, I've started this thread and am attaching my logs. In this instance, LiveTV did work for me (usually doesn't), but it only lasted about 2 seconds before going to a black screen.
I've included NPVR, NRecord, and SageDCT logs. My exact steps were as follows:
1. Shut down SageDCT / NPVR services
2. Delete old logs
3. Start services
4. Open NPVR
5. Open EPG
6. Pick Standard Definition channel (NBC I believe)
7. Double click, pick "Watch"
8. Watched 2 seconds, after black screen I exited application and saved logs
Hope this helps. If you want me to try anything else, please let me know.
I installed it via XBMC
Start addon and get "Unable to retrieve data" type message
Go into settings and add my NEWA password, still the same problem
Do i need to enter the MAC in the settings? Also the addon's menus selections are really dark..might be because of Aeon Nox White theme that uses black fonts...anyways here is my log file from XBMC and web log of NPVR
EDIT: SORRY!!...posted this in wrong section...It should be in X-NEWA
Hi everyone. In the Recordings section of the settings, I want to change the default folder to something different than c:/temp but it won't let me alter this setting. I can add another folder but I can't delete or alter what the default is. I searched the forum but I can't seem to find a reason for this.
New to PVR setup. I was able to get live tv working in WMC. I can't however get NextPVR to recognize the Ceton card. No devices are displayed in the settings menu. Logs are attached. What am I missing?
I encountered a display bug when using "Cumulative Update - Jan 12, 2013 - NPVR 2.5.9"
My recurring recordings are all manual recordings, so normally under the Recurring Recordings tab, it will display the time and type of recording (ie Weekly or Weekdays, etc).
But after I used the patch, I see the display as "All Episodes". This is probably a bug.
In the unlikely event that she needs technical support, I'd appreciate any advice or warnings about...
* Avast or other free AV software
* M$ Office 2003 Pro
* That Start8 thingy
* Anything else which makes W8 look like XP or W7
Everytime i try to pause a recorded show or live TV i must press the pause button repeatedly to get it to pause (worst on live TV) and same goes for unpausing
Here is the log snippet from XBMC when i try to pause during a recording:
Been pounding away at getting npvr working by itself before trying to figure out problems in xbmc. Everything working well now up to the point I change a channel a time or two & eventually video freezes. Not always exactly repeatable on number of switches but usually just one or two. In attached logs you can see it on 3rd switch to Cartoon HD.
