I'm not sure if this is a 1.2.9 issue or not, but I just updated X-NEWA on my openelec 2.0 box, and all shows in the guide are showing as being on one hour later than they should (i.e. shows on now are shown as being on in an hour), and I'm unable to play live TV.
The time is correct on the system, and on the server, and everything looks as it should in the server's epg, on PC clients, and in the NEWA epg. I've emptied and updated the epg on the server, and restarted the recording service, and totally uninstalled and reinstalled X-NEWA.
I am using an Hauppauge hdpvr it works fine with mediaportal but I thought I would try out npvr instead.
SchedulesDirect was able to populate my list, the Hauppauge IR blaster is able to change the channel, but I just get a black screen during live tv.
could someone look at the logs and tell me what is wrong? I installed newest drivers for the Hauppauge, I did the softpvr wintv7 64bit bat script. I also installed some codec package recommended on another post to fix a bunch of errors to do with codecs.
Sub, is there any way you can separate the changes you made for load speed from the experimental changes for timeshifting and submit those for build? The current production version is much too slow in my environment even on an i7 and the changes too important not to be included in the baseline going with Frodo.
The timeshifting features on the other hand certainly are experimental, the overall experience for me is not that good. Although it is nice to be be able to pause, navigation is so inferior to the NextPVR that I wouldn't bother with them. It may be my knowledge of how this is supposed to work, but I never know where I am on the timeline when I do navigate, (time on the left seems to be elapsed time in the show only) and most of the time during FF and RW I just have a grey screen so it is all guess work. Maybe other people with XBMC knowledge can shed some light on how timeshifting is supposed to work since there are positive comments on it, which don't jibe with what I see.
I know the answer will probably be no but .............
Ok just got me a new Tablet Windows8
But i need on screen Buttons to stop and go back(esc) and maybe a pause/play would be nice
fast forward or rewind are not needed just touch the time line for those although i wouldnt say no if you wanted to add them also
Any Chance???????
The built in windows player doesnt seem to like TS files (probably need W8 pro)
Media player does play the ts Files but not the metro player
(ive wasted enough time trying to get it working and would rather use nextpvr anyway)
I have a number of saved recordings, when i see these in XBMC, i thought i would delete a few i didn't need, the first one i delete removed the recording (as expected), however it also deleted the reoccurring schedule i had setup as well.
So i am left with all the rest of the recording and no schedule to record anymore.
XBMC seems very primitive with regards its timer recording options....
I just found out the E940 has an IR extender at the back so....I was wondering instead of blasting is there a male to male connector that can go from the hdpvr/mce dongle ir blaster to the ir port of the E940?
