I have finally been doing a skin for Programs for BRVE+ for the up coming update, I have always said the skinning is a good way to find bugs, & yet again I have discovered a bug in that it doesn't remember the last view selected which is a bit of a pain from a users point of view.
Hi
Sound has stopped in Live TV and any playback in NPVR V1.5.36
Recordings playback with sound in Media Player Classic.
I have checked all volume settins and all ok, no mutes on.
In Settings/Decoders It is set as
Vid Renderer EVR
Audio Renderer Default
Decoders
MPEG2 Video ffdshow
H.264 Video ffdshow
MPEG! Audio ffdshow
AC3 Audio ffdshow
E-AC3 Audio Disabled -- (This is all that is in the drop down list)
AAC Audio ffdshow
HE-AAC Audio Disabled -- (This is all that is in the drop down list)
I have tried changing them all, but it makes no difference.
Please excuse me for asking this but I have had a brief look around and cannot find anything specific to my situation.
I have just put together a HTPC.
Intel motherboard DG45FC, Intel dual Core 8400, 4Gb Ram, Blu-ray drive and running Windows 7 Professional 64.
I am looking for advise on which TV card to put into this. I am in New Zealand and currently only have analog and Freeview Teresteral. I mite in the future like to have a play around with satalite TV not sky and also use for getting some of my annalog movies etc into digital.
The slot is PCI-e 1 and will need to be half height because of case. (Mini skeleton)
I have looked at the Haupauge ones but there seems to be some confussion re model numbers for which country etc.
Any sujestions as to which way to go would be much appreciated.
people that are on windows 7 with nvidia video cards

I'm not sure what the problem is here, but almost every day I run into failed recordings on my HDHR. No errors appear in the log but on the recordings screen I'm presented with the following error:
*** No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.
However, if I restart the recording service the HDHR seems to work fine... I can watch live TV without issue, perform multiple recordings, whatever... the HDHR works until the next day. Incidentally my HD-PVR continues to record fine however even if the HDHR recordings are failing.
For instance last night, noticing that my two UFC recordings had failed at 6 and 7pm, I restarted the service just before 9 pm. The next two HDHR recordings, The Cape at 9 pm and another UFC at 1 am worked fine however come this morning 2 "Boy Meets World" recordings failed again with the same error. It doesn't appear to be channel related because all the channels record fine right after I restart the service. I'm actually starting to think it might be post-EPG update recordings that fail but I'm not sure.
Any thoughts? I've attached both the last two logs though since I don't see an error in there I'm not sure if they'll help.
I've had this problem through several versions but have been getting by with restarting the machine each day.
- currently on 1.5.36, recording is reliable until after the EPG update, when recordings fail with "FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: NPVR TS Mon"
Restart the machine and al is well until the next EPG
I hope someone can help. I am trying NPVR 1.5.36 with all the latest patches (as of 24-01-11). Everything seems OK apart from the fact that I get no control buttons - play, pause, rewind etc. The Hauppauge remote works but seems sluggish. I still have GB-PVR 1.4.7 installed and the controls are there and the remote control response is fine. I'm using the same video renderer and decoder for both (EVR and Cyberlink Power DVD 10) so am not sure what is causing the problem. I have attached my logs. Anyone any ideas?
