I would like gbpvr stuff to be archived
from the forum and the wiki.
change the header from gbpvr to npvr(thats the new name. I have decided for you, the poll was wrong )
Reasons : 1.so its easier to search for relevant stuff
2.new people load Npvr and dont get told off for not using the correct program or looking at the correct wiki or forum
When trying to skip forward more then 2 min (cannot seem to skip more then 1 or 2min at a time) the playback stops and reverts to recordings details for show I am watching.
Using latest nPVR and updates(#4) on a nmt using latest mvpmcx2
Logs show this error right at stoppage.

I have installed this on XP 64bit, the installed complained about the data directory (it says C:\Users\Public\NPVR) however i notice it created it in the WIndows 2000 location (c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\npvr), when i then installed another copy on a XP 64bit pointing to this copy as the server, its complaining about SQLite errors and unable to find a "npvr.db3" file.
Now i shared the NPVR directory (as was told the client / server setup is the same as GBPVR), i have searched the hard drive and cant find ANY *.db3 files...
I need to start tracking down errors, and why is the data directory NOT in the NPVR location (as it should be with the program, this is a logistical nightmare for roaming profiles and backing this up).
First where is this db3 file supposed to be located, and why isnt there one installed by defualt?
I have been told that NPVR is not the same as GBPVR, so will need to ask all the questions i cant find answers for (again).
I have a PVR-150 with drivers loaded (which worked on this machine with just drivers), have loaded v1.5.36, it doesnât find PVR-150, i know this is an analogue card, i also know it says "if your card doesnât show up, load WinTV v7", now i donât want to be picky here, but isnt WIN TV a SOFT PVR, the whole point of the PVR 150 is its a HARD encoder,
I hate loading loads of software just to use 3% of it (called bloating your system for no need), so would like some clarification.
What Hard Encoder cards does NPVR support (i have looked for this and canât find this list other than "load WINTV 7", before it was almost any Hauppauge card WITH the correct drivers, has this stance changed?
Why do some episode numbers for a show show as S06E10 and others show up for the same show as 610?
I've noticed that some shows are showing the episode numbers as expected while others either have the wrong format or seem to be missing.
I have looked at the XML file for the shows in question and they seem to have the correct information in the correct tags but the results seem to be in consistent.
Two shows that I'm currently looking at are Bones and Criminal Minds. For Bones, the episode for Jan. 22 is showing the episode number as S06E10 but the show listed for Jan. 28 is showing it as 610 (even though the xml says it's the 11th episode). Criminal Minds does not seem to be displaying any episode information for the show on Jan. 27.
Is it a problem with the XML files or with UltraXMLTV 2.1?
Let me know if you need the XML files or any other information.
Ive downloaded NPVR, installed (it complained it cant find the DATA DIR in the location Windows 7 has it (must be an XP 64bit thing), didnt worry about it, however where is the CONFIG program? I have start and stop service and NPVR, and no tray icon????
Ideas?
Once i iron that out, how do i migrate all my GBPVR stuff over to the new install (which is in a new directory called NPVR).
