Hope this is the "correct" place for this but I'm gonna write it in English though so you all can read.
Any Sweeds here that know a replacement for tv.swedb.se since that seems to go down the drain
The best place I've even seen seems to go down as the programmer after over 6 years of programming it all alone has gotten tired of all the work.
2 new channels has started, one was just renamed, but they are both "public" so we sure can use those channels to in the "xmltv" we get.
First I sure hope someone that can program that stuff can help out as swedb.se seems to be the best for Sweeds, but if that is out of the question, we Vikings needs a new supplier of xmltv stuff.
I'm trying to switch over to NPVR from GBPVR. I've always used Schedules Direct for my guide. I have 3 lineups setup with SD:
OTA
Basic cable
Digital Cable for QAM channels.
In the NPVR setup: "import Channel list" for my analog tuner, I select EPG Source: "Schedules Direct"; the options are there for my username & password but I can't find a way to enter any info into the "lineup tab". This is as far as I've been able to get.
I couldn't find in the forums anywhere what audio files nPVR supports. I can't get it to play files downloaded from iTunes (mp4 or m4a). Are these supported? If it's a codec issue, what do I need to install?

Hi Martin,
Having decided to go all NPVR (Been dual-trialling with some success) I seem to have completely stuffed up the PCH Part. Oddly, it worked, using the Network Browser with NPVR, then didn't work again. Then it worked with the GBPVR menu (and loaded NPVR), even though I uninstalled GBPVR ???? help?
Why would NMTInstall still install GBPVR.html even after I completely uninstalled (and deleted and reg-cleaned) GBPVR?
It never works with the Top menu in either btw, only the Network Browser One.
k.
Odd thing is my PCH doesn't have that IP, I set a Static IP Address in the Router.
I installed the NextPVR. I enter setting to select my capture card (Hauppauge PVR-150MCE).
I see no devices on the list. It is empty.
I ran the FilterCheck. It lists my card as "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture".
I checked the AnalogDevices.XML and it is on the list (the second one).
I do not know if it is related, but I saw in another area that I need to install something from the WinTV application. My capture card came without the application CD (was OEM) so I cannot download the software from the Hauppague site.
Can it be because my Windows 7 is installed on D: and the default data directory is c:?
Why is the list empty?
Hello.
I am currently switching to NPVR from GBPVR.
In my GBPVR setup i used EWA for scheduling ( GBPVR is actually running on server with no monitor attached. I am only using it as a recorder, all playback is through XBMC)
Since I live in Sweden I was with EWA having a few problems with correct character translation.
When I got my XMLTV data the file contained Hex 94 and Hex 96 characters that failed to display ok in EWA. What I did was use a perl script to translate Hex 94 to Hex 22 and Hex 96 to "-" (dash).
Same problem occurs on a few more characters as well but I dont have any data to show that now.
However using the same approch on NEWA doesnt help, it still displays a "square box".
Is this possible to do this with NPVR (somehow to play items recorded / stored from a master install of NPVR on to another PC that has NPVR installed pulling all the details of the program with it (abit like the MVP)....
Or is there a MVP/NMT client for a remote PC that can interact?
I have 3 channels that are not getting EPG for some reason. They did with GBPVR which I just upgraded from.
I'm using Schedules Direct. The 3 stations are KARE-HD 11.1 (ATSC) KSTP-DT 5.1 (ATSC) and KARE-HD (QAM). I have attached my logs and schedulesdirect.xml file.
Any idea why this is? I haven't changed my SD subscription, and they were there for GBPVR.
Also, I'm curious about the two different windows when mapping channels. When I map an individual channel, I see schedules direct, and then the channel mapping. When I go into bulk channels, I still see schedules direct selected, but the XMLTV column is empty.
What is the difference between mapping a channel individually and bulk? And why doesn't the individual map show up in the bulk window?
BTW, there seems to be some error with NEWA saved searches also. If I save a search as a title match and run the search in NEWA it returns listings that match, but they never get scheduled to record. If I save the same query as title contains it will return the exact same matching listings, but this time they will be scheduled for recording.
I have things working pretty well with NPVR except that the menu screens are overflowing on my PCH...that is they're too big...the date is just barely visible and some of the items are cut off on the left. IIRC, the MVPScreenPosition plug-in could be used to adjust the screen size but I haven't used it for ages. Does it still work or is there an equivalent for NPVR/PCH?
