I'm seeing a couple issues with the TV Guide window. Not huge problems but thought I'd pass it along. I didn't see it noted anywhere. I have the latest patches installed.
I use Schedules Direct for the guide info, if it matters...
When I skip days (the Skip key on the remote) it works OK. When I get to the end of the listings it will show an empty guide for subsequent days. However, if I try to skip back into the days that are populated (the Replay key on the remote) the day & date change but the guide doesn't show anything. As long as I don't go past the end of the listings, skipping forward & back work fine.
Furthermore, if I'm using the arrow key to advance thru the guide, when I try to go past the last show in a channel it throws an unhandled exception error Here's the log info:
Unexpected error: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

nPVR 1.5.36 dvd playing starts a new window when using overlay buffer, and it is using the video renderer from the decoders section, instead of from the DVD section (video renderer in DVD section doesn't do anything).
I've got NPVR working great with my Blackgold 3620 except that all timed recordings that start after resuming from standby are 0kB!
I've found the error message "Unexpected error on DVB-T put_TunerRequest: 0x8007001F" in nrecord.log [attached].
I have used MediaPortal and Tv Scheduler Pro which do not suffer from this issue with the same card.
Perhaps NPVR is not allowing enough time for the 3620 to initialize?
I'm using a Hauppauge 45 button remote. It works fine in GBPVR, but when I use NPVR (on the same computer) there is a 3 second delay between the button press being shown. If I press a button (ie: cursor down) 3 times quickly, the selection on the screen will move down 3 times, but there is a 3 second pause between each one. Everything works fine if I use a mouse or the keyboard. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Does anyone have step by step instructions for renaming recordings automatically? I have two channels recording non-stop and I need the episodic information, which is provided by schedules direct for about 90% of the shows. I need it to be set up ShowTitle - EpisodeTitle. If I don't get this to rename automatically, I will have to watch enough of each episode to find the title for hundreds of episodes, not fun. Please someone save me from countless hours of boring work.
I have been using NPVR with NMT for a while and I am encountering some issues that I am hoping Sub would have the time to look into. I have 3 NMT devices with heavy use of live TV and Recordings. I tried all sorts of tweaks including acquiring a new HDhomerun tuner but little changed. I would be happy to do any needed testing.
1. Live TV hangs randomly and only a hard reset of the PCH would fix it.
2. Live TV lack of seek and skip support. I can tell my family to not to do it, but it is hard to avoid and it often hangs the PCH requiring a hard reset
3. NMT would not start sometimes. Apparently this is caused by old connections hanging from another PCH device and not being released. A restart of the recording server is needed to fix this issue
In the TV Recordings plug-in, when there are multiple recordings with the same show name, the top level listing groups them and creates a "summary" entry which includes the number of recordings and the "Last Recording" date. However, the "Last Recording" date is one day later than the actual recording. (It is sort of fun to see listings showing the last recording as "Tomorrow", but it should probably be fixed. ) I'm guessing that this is another place where there is an issue with converting from UTC to the local timezone.
I'm trying to share the NPVR folder on my 'server' system so that I can get my client machine updated to using NPVR as well. I'm running into an issue that when I go under the sharing tab for the folder and select the option to share the folder and try to add the everyone group and click ok I get the message "your folder can't be shared". I'm doing some searching on it today but was just wondering if anybody here has run into that issue before. Thanks.
