and it works fine in IE, but just doesn't download.
I've been using and configuring TVxB for several years now and have gotten "reasonably" familiar with it but I am stumped at the first hurdle.
With wget I always get this message when I open the downloaded html file "C:\Utils\TVXB\TVXB04Test\cache\TVxb-deutschewelle.hk-20101004.html"

I did try adding a wgetrc file to the ini as per TVxB manual - no improvement.
Apologies if this has already been answered (I did try a few searches but nothing came up). I've seen lots of posts about comskip and .ts files but they are all about playback in NPVR. The problem I have is wanting to cut the .ts file to remove the ads before then converting it to mp4 format.
I've found various GUI tools that can be used to edit .ts files but I'm looking for a CL tool that can be added to the postprocessing.bat and that will take in one of the formats comskip will output. I thought I was there with ProjectX but unfortunately it will only do Frame Position cutting (that comskip outputs) when you are demuxing. Since my program of choice for the mp4 encoding is Handbrake, unless I add another remuxing step, I can't use it because it doesn't take demuxed input.
I installed NPVR right beside GBPVR, so no change in HW or BDA drivers. With GB-PVR I can view encypted channels with the CI/CAM interface. But with NPVR I get a black screen. Other channels are fine.
I have a three tuner setup where two tuners that has no CI serves only free channels. And my Twinhan DTV Ter-CI (shows as a filter name with 878 in it) serves only the encrypted channels.
Hello,
I'm trying to find the best/correct position of my antenna. Is there a possibility that npvr shows me the signal strength or quality? I didn't find it.
Or do I need an external program? Which?
I noticed some strange behavior when recording programs:
As long I keep my PC out of standby mode, every recording works like a charm. But when it gets into standby mode, it gets woken up at the right time but nothing is getting recorded. I've added some logs showing that I wanted to record something today at 17:50. At 18:00 I tried to play the part that has already been recorded, but the file was empty (0 Byte), so I cancelled the recording. I already looked at the logs, but couldn't spot any errors. Has anyone an idea why this is happening? Thanks in advance.
After this code, it takes 0,5 second, and the new channel is viewed, and decoding continues.
If I'm recording one channel in the mux, and I switch channels, I get the same message, and the recording gets a small cut (lasting 0,5 second).
Playing a DVD in NPVR I get a timeline but no OSD with buttons like in GB-PVR: [IMG][/IMG]
Is this because there isn't one or am I doing something wrong? Also, are there keyboard shortcuts for changing the aspect ratio, skip/chapter navigation etc like in GB-PVR?
