when creating xmlt from zap2it using zap2itxml, it adds 2 display names in the text file. would you know how to get stop this from happening.

I have been using NextPVR (version 4.x running on 64-bit Windows 10) with Schedules Direct for 5 or 6 years with no problems, but recently updated to NextPVR 6.1 and have not been able to get it to load Schedules Direct EPG.  I have checked and doublechecked my SD login username and pw, but SD is not listed as an available EPG Source on the Settings/Guide page (only option is DVB/ATSC EPG).  If I click on Add SD Channel Lineup and enter my zip code (67037) and click Search, nothing happens.  On the Settings/Channels page, each channel shows DVB/ATSC EPG as the EPG Source.  If I click on the wrench, select "...Add Schedules Direct Lineup...." (which isn't always available as an option), enter my SD login credentials and zip code, and click Search, nothing happens and the channel EPG Source remains unchanged.  I do not have a very detailed nuts-and-bolts knowledge of configuring NextPVR and SD, so it is not clear to me where the disconnect is.  Can you assist?

Good Morning. 

Recently I have been trying to get NextPVR up and running again after jumping over from TV-Mosaic.  I have attempted to setup on two different windows devices one is Windows 11 and one is Win-Server 2019. 

I am using a HDhomerun Tech4 Tuner box. It has 4 dual IP tuners built in.  It works well with Plex etc. 

However when I go to add a device and scan channels in NextPVR I just get EPG loading forever! never actually gets to scan for channels even if I select no EPG it still gets stuck at this stage. 

Can anyone help?  I have uninstalled and re-installed several times. 



I have seen a few complain about similar things but couldn't find an exact match for my issue.  If this is a re-posting of another thread please let me know.

The TV tower for KXAN (channel 36.1) in Austin Texas was severely damaged due to a recent ice storm and has been off the air for quite some time.  They have opened up transmissions on another tower on channel 54.5 which I assume is normally not a valid channel here.   (channels 54.1 through 54.4 are picked up just fine with NextPVR and I can tune other TVs to 54.5 and receive the channel)

When I do a scan (on ATSC-072020-repack-recommended) it doesn't pick up channel 54.5.  I've tried a few of the other scan designates and can't seem to find it either.

Is there a way to specifically add this channel to my lineup?

I'm using PureVPN on my Windows NPVR server.
Because of this I can't access my server with the web interface.
PureVPN does offer Split Tunneling, which allows me to list the apps that will use the VPN.
But I'm not sure exactly which apps I need to run NPVR.
I have tried various combos but can't get it to work.

Anywhere to find updated info for getting comskip working. I've checked the wiki, but seems to be for a windows enviroment, and this is in docker on a linux box.

I am on Ubuntu 22.04

Since a few days, I have this error when connecting with Chrome at localhost:8866 (and a blank page with Firefox).

I completly uninstalled NextPVR and reinstalled, that doest' solve the issue.
When looking at the status of Nextpvr, the service seems to be running

Does anyone know anything about npvrProxy?

I see alot of pointers to windows locations in the file. Im running on linux and wondered if this needed changed or if there was some change in the API that is causing it to fail. The app is kinda old.

The channel lineup.json is what fails.

discover.json and lineup_status.json work as expected

I have a 256 GB SSD boot drive © and a 3TB designated HDD that I have used for storing recorded TV files and has been in place for years.

After upgrading NPVR to v6 (from v4) recently the recordings all are sent to C drive, which is not what I want. When I go into the settings my preferred target folder is listed second after C. which is listed as default.
I select C, and delete it. 
As quickly as I can do that, it repopulates automatically and begins sending recorded files to C drive again. 

This has never been an issue for me before. any thoughts?

I am thinking of switching to the server / client method. What I would like to know is will the mac client work like the Windows? I don't plan to install this on a Docker setup.
