Is there any way to adjust the layout, position, of subtitles embedded in TS files?
For example, bottom center of screen, amount of characters per line, etc.
What I see now are multiple short lines, halfway up the screen toward the right.
I have the exact same question as https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=57715 which was posted back in 2017, how can I open NextPVR directly into TV mode? The solution posted back then no longer exists in the settings (both in the app and the web based config) and I also can't find any config type files that I could modify (searching in the nextPVR folder for *config* or *xml* files).
Is there still a way I can open NextPVR directly into live TV?
I'm a new(bie?) user with a fresh install of NextPVR (V 6.1.1.221106) on a Windows 10 machine, and am trying to install ssPlus. The install fails with the message: Error DataDirectory, and when I exit that popup it reports DataDirectory Registry Error, and then reports that it's been successfully installed in .
I tried rerunning as administrator with the same result.
I noticed that that per the wiki the latest version of ssPlus is 1.2.0, but the date on the .exe embedded in the zip install is 8/12/2012. Am I working with the correct version?
Any suggestions for what to try next would be very welcome.
I recently switched over from V4 to V6 a couple of days ago. Everything in V4 worked fine for years and after I switched to V6, I can't watch a channel without the transcoding failing. I've uploaded my logs and any advise is appreciated, thanks.
I have an iptv provider, with 5 m3u links, each one having a maximum of 1 stream at a time.
I'm trying to add these m3u as devices in NextPVR, but it seems i'm stuck at adding only two.
I go to settings > devices and i click on the pre existing IPTV devices > import m3u, them i input my m3u and xmltv link, scan and save.
Once the first device is added, i click again on IPTV device and i do the exacte same thing.
Once these two m3u IPTVDevices are made, i try to click again on IPTV Devices, but there is no more "import m3u" button...so i don't how i can add more m3u.
Is it me not understanding how to do, is it a bug, or maybe is it by design?
Hello, I have two settings problems. Under Scheduler->Recurring, everything I've added is in the order it was added in, nothing is sorted which would be much more preferable. I've even checked Config.xml for some type of setting.
The other problem I have, I created a secondary drive, to my NAS, is there a way to assign that as default? Or must I put that drive in the dialog box and put the old C: drive path as a secondary drive?
One last problem, when I have a failed recording for some reason, I try to select DELETE from the most recent recordings, but then it doesn't go away. It's annoying, I suppose it just scrolls away eventually, just doesn't seem to work.
A couple of weeks ago, several channels in the Boston, Massachusetts, USA area started broadcasting ATSC 3.0, so I bought an HDHomeRun FLEX tuner to replace the EXTEND that I had been using for several years. Things have gone pretty well with it. I get video and sound from both ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 channels when I use the HDHomeRun app (my Windows 11 system has the Microsoft HEVC decoder installed and the app plays a game with an online server to make the audio happen). I get only video from ATSC 3.0 channels using VLC (it has an H.265 decoder but nothing to handle the AC-4 audio). I expected to get something similar with the NextPVR Web app, but, while everything is fine for an ATSC 1.0 channel, I get nothing from an ATSC 3.0 channel. For example, channel 2.1 is fine but channel 102.1 (the FLEX differentiates ATSC 3.0 from 1.0 by adding 100 to the 1.0 channel number) says "Starting device. Please wait..." and after a bit "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)".
I've attached my logs. At 15:39 I watched a few seconds of channel 2.1. At 15:40, I attempted to watch channel 102.1. This is the first time I've looked at NextPVR logs, but I'm wondering why for 102.1 NextPVR seems to be trying to stream from HDHomeRun 10A5CDA9-3 (which only supports ASTC 1.0), which is 192.168.217.145 on my LAN, rather than from HDHomeRun 10A5CDA9-0 (which supports both ASTC 1.0 and 3.0), which is 192.168.217.148 on my LAN.
sub,
I tried to use the Feb 5 build of NLite and am seeing this issue.
Full output attached.

Of Android TV, Apple TV and Chromecast with Google TV which is the best option to use to use NextPVR on other TVs. I don't know much about Chromecast with Google TV. I am told that it has the ability to install apps, the same ones as Android TV.
