My nextpvr client for Kodi19.5 for fire stick quit working by itself with a message that this nextpvr message is not supported, upgrade to 5.0.3 or later. I installed Kodi version,20 and that doesn't work either. I use a hauppauge dual tuner card with Windows 10. Where can I get a nextpvr client for 19.5 or v 20 for Kodi?
I did a clean install on the weekend, and of the day of install, I could tune the following USB DVB-T tuners:
hauppauge WinTV-HVR-935 &
hauppauge WinTV-dualHD
on Windows 10.
However, today (Monday 6/2/2023), none of the tuners are responding. I received a red: Transcoding exiting error message.
So I did another clean install (set the Tuners to stayed primed), and I'm not having any luck getting the tuners to work.
The Windows Device manager show the devices (drivers are up to date), the NextPVR web UI show the devices, however the Show Status (from the NextPVR system tray icon) pop up window has No Devices visible.
My attempts to run a channel scan fails on all the DVB-T and no channels are detected. I have run a test on the aerial port with a standalone TV without an issue.
Is there a way to add a prompt dialog box that asks "Are you sure you want to cancel this recording?" when you hit the Cancel button on the details window for a recording that's already in progress?
I ask because it is way too easy to accidentally hit the Cancel button when attempting to hit the Update button that's just above it.
That nightmare scenario finally happened for me tonight, and I ended up accidentally cancelling a recording when I was trying to add more post-padding to it, which completely ruined it.
If this dialog doesn't exist already, hidden away by some Setting, could it please be added in the next version of NextPVR, in both the client application and the web interface?
I thank you in advance for this feature, as I don't want this nightmare happening again.
I'm based in the UK and I assume satellite channels have changed again.
Trying to record on BBC4 I have been getting "no data" received for each attempted recording. I assume that means BBC4 has moved?
On my Freesat box this is dealt with automatically but clearly not on NextPVR.
What is the best way of dealing with this?
How can I get a definitive list of UK channels? How can I get emailed about changes? And what is the best way to manage channells?
I tried to export the channels so that I could edit the list and inport again. But the export format is XML and is not exactly straight forward to edit. I couldn't find any way of exporting to a comma separated file.
Recently I emailed PBS America to ask where they now were located and they couldn't tell me!
I'm using version 4 of NextPVR and haven't upgraded to 5 as I've no idea how complex that is to do?

I have NextPVR setup with 2 tuners installed and configured. I can record 2 TV channels at the one time, so I know all is working.
What I am trying to do is use NextPVR as a backend to Channels DVR. Channels DVR only supports HDHomerun devices and I want to use the Hauppauge tunnel I have as well to add extra tuners.
I know I could just use the NextPVR client but the family does not like change and they are used to Channels DVR, makes my life easier. Channels DVR also has some nice features.
The issue is that I can only seem to be able to use a single m3u stream at a time. If I try and start watching another channel with Channels DVR the first one will stop and the second will start.
I know Channels DVR supports this as I first tried with TVHeadend (had issues with Linux drivers and tuner) and could watch 2 channels at the same time.
So is it possible for NextPVR to provide mutilple m3u streams up to the number of tuners installed.
Having a problem with scanning channels. I have had NPVR working but there have been channels that have been omitted in scans that I kept attempting to get scanned by retrying but now this keeps occurring. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything including .NET but to no avail. Keep getting this same error at the end of the scan. Frustrating to say the least.
Running an iMac 2017 with Ventura 13.2 and a Elgato/Ganiatech Netstream 4SAT. Version 6.1.1.221106
I’m currently bringing up NextPVR on an dual-core Celeron 1017U running at 1.6GHz, with 4GB of RAM. I seem to be hitting my goal of recording three channels simultaneously from my HdHomerun, while playing a pre-recorded show. Where it’s falling short is trying to watch via the web browser over a remote connection, even if I’ve set up streaming transcoding to the lowest speed. That make me think the bottleneck is in the transcoding not the (slower, hotspot) connection.
So my question is, how much PC do I need to get the job done? (And please don’t say “as much as you can afford”) Some success stories of what’s working for other people would be welcome.

PS - Interestingly, when playing through a client (kodi with nextPVR plug-in) instead of a web browser, the server doesn’t seem to be down-transcoding - even set to 144p, the (broken) playback looks like HD. But that’s a problem for another day.
I've searched but was unable to find a solution to my problem. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
For some reason my channels mapped to SD have stopped downloading the EPG. My SD account is active and appears to be working fine in other apps. Here's what I'm seeing in my NextPVR log. The key message is " Token has expired. Request new token."
I am having some issues finding BBC 4 HD which I believe now shares with cBeebies HD after some recent changes on Astra 2E/2G/2F. I downloaded the latest 28.2e ini from King of Sat but when I run scan the channel is not listed either by name or just the number. I was expecting to find it at 11024/8931. Attached a channel scan log too.
Just a general question from a newbie guy. I couldn't find anything in the search but my google kung foo might be weak.
I currently have a hauppauge hvr-2250 dual tuner that refuses to pick up a weak channel in my line up. (UHF 15) if I tune that channel on any of my televisions they pick it up fine but it does occasionally artifact.
my question is, do dual and quad tuners basically have a built in splitter that halves the power? Can I buy another single tuner and run a dedicated line off of my channel master amp to pick up just that channel that is fairly poor (but normally watchable) channel? its the only full HD NBC channel in my region.
