I'm running GBPVR on 32 bit XP on a 64 bit proccessor. All is well, and I'm most impressed, thanks to all developers!
I'm aware that 64 bit XP is missing drivers for MCE remotes. Is anyone aware of an unofficial patch, or does GBPVR come with these missing drivers?

If a real member has replied to a message it gives it some credibility. This means that a forum moderator like myself might not spam-kill it, or at the very least has to open up the thread and spend a minute reading the replies to check it really is spam.

System working fine for 5 months. Back from weeks hol! Tried to play recording but just got black screen. Did reboot and re-register filters. Now when I try to play recording I get GBPVR has stopped working...log file attached. Recordings play fine in Media player
I've had this happen on one or two occasions in the recent past, and it has me baffled.
A one-hour show seems to record normally, and produces a 1.8 GB file, the same as other shows of the same length, but when I go to play it back, it shows up as 22 minutes long. When I play it back in GBPVR I get the beginning of the show and the end, with about a half-hour worth chopped out of the middle. I tried deleting all the COMSKIP files but that made no difference. When I play the file back in Windows Media Player, I get the beginning and the middle, but not the end!
I'm at my wits' end trying to figure out what has happened here. I don't know a lot about MPEG formatting, but I can envision that some internal pointers in hte file got mixed up - but I haven't found any kind of "repair" utility.
I downloaded Mpeg Parser for Windows, but it apparently choked on the file size - it read in some data then blew up. I got a copy of MediaInfo for the Mac, and here is the output it produced:

Can anyone shed light on this - what happened, how I can repair it, or other utilities that might shed more light on the issue?
I use wake.cmd to kill the pvrx2.exe process and restart it automatically after a wake from sleep. This is necessary to ensure I get smooth video. With Windows XP, wake.cmd would kill the process, start it again and all would appear fine in full screen. However, with Windows 7, GBPVR appears in windowed mode after the batch file runs. Does anyone know why? I'm using the -fse switch in the batch file and EVR rendering, whilst config does not have windowed mode enabled.
Have a PC set up with no keyboard or mouse - MCE remote only. Put PVR2.exe in start up folder like I always have. However on boot up GBPVR starts but I can't access it with the remote. If I plug a usb mouse in then I can click a mouse button which then gives GBPVR focus and then the remote works.
Anyone know what I can do it make GBPVR to be in focus and just use the remote from the off.
My dad longstanding Pentium M system has started to crash on an almost daily basis. I've changed the memory but its still crashes so I have decided to bite the bullet and replace the whole unit.

Yes, I know there are options like HIP, but they are all a pain in the neck to get going right. The MCE remote is the only real standard and should get the best support.
I'd like to see buttons such as Radio, Music, Pictures etc. fully supported natively.
I have a repeatable Windows crash (actually a bit of colour flickers very briefly then reboots the PC) that occurs when I try to view liveTV via the TVGuide (I have not tried to record anything).
The issue is with a new Dual Tuner Magic-Pro ProHDTV Gold Tuner. My bda.ini modification details for the device are below, and I believe these are correct as the channels were found in the Map Digital Channels screen in config and I could see and hear the TV Channels in the Digital Mapping Screen.

There appears (from FILMERIT output) a few issues with the names of the filters associated with the device, (errors refer to oem124.inf, copy attatched), although the correct filter names also appear as Magic-Pro Digital Tuner and Magic-Pro Digital Tuner Secondary.
I re-registered the associated ksproxy.ax filter just to be sure.
How can I troubleshoot this further / fix this crash?
