I'm trying to set up a Harmony remote to control GBPVR through the PVR150 IR receiver (this is the "basic" PVR150 with the Hauppauge remote and receiver+blaster, not the MCE version). The Harmony database contains the PVR150 for both a "Media Center PC" and a "Desktop PC", but neither of these work. Anyone got this working, before I go through the teaching-learning process?

Wonder if you can help me, i need to add subtitles or a small movie to a beggining of a recording saying "Property of ........ blah blah). I am using Stranscode.bat to transcode the movies into MKV.

Any ideas ? From the batch file think i can do this

Just recently I have been getting problems with watching TV in GBPVR via my HVR2200 tuner. Often the picture is in black and white (see jpg and logs attached). Analog seems always correct.

I'm lost here - After years of no problems, something with this new 2250 setup has me going crazy! I know my card can pull my QAM channels with no problem, but I'm still getting major failures on my scheduled recordings (80%). I'm wondering if I screwed up the recordings database during my upgrade? Anyway...any insight would be much appreciated! Logs & config.xml are attached...running gbpvr 1.4.7

i have afresh install and am having trouble with my gbpvr.cgi. the first time i load it i get "mkdir cannot create director" if i go to source and reload the cgi for a second time it works then. not sure why it takes two tries.

Hi all,

I have recently installed an Asus My Cinema EHD2-100 tuner card which I have been using with Windows Media Centre but would like to get working with gbpvr which seems to be more what I am looking for. I followed the instructions in the Wiki and altered the BDA.ini but no channels are found so I think I may be confused on what filter names I should be entering. Can anyone help? I have attached my FilterCheck report.

I would like to use the composite/svideo input on my HVR-1250mce to capture some external viedo. I cannot find a way to configure the input with GBPVR.

I currently use the card to view the qam channels on Comcast here in Michigan. That is until comcast drops almost all of the qam channels this coming April 21.

I have some "problems" with configuring my GB-PVR.
I want to use my HVR-900H, its visible in the "Digital Recording Plugin-Settings" but not in the "Analog Recording Plugin-Setting" dialog.

The problem is that i dont want to use DVB-T i want to use it for normal Cable-TV so the card should be available in the "Analog Recording Plugin-Setting" dialog.

What do i have to do to watch/record analog-TV with my card an GB-PVR?

OK, I realize that there is probably no solution to this.... but pretty much every two weeks Comcast changes the channel mapping. So instead of KPIX, I get some local Hispanic broadcast. Or, I get KPIX-LivWell (some crappy infomercial channel).

Called Comcast, they recommended I get a "cable box"... duh.

Is there any automapping QAM routine that could remap channels at some given time interval?

I have been using GBPVR for about two years now and am very happy with it. I would like to put an extender in the bedroom and am looking at a second hand PCH A100 and was wondering if someone in NZ had this combo and could advise if they'd had an issues?
I just want to know what to expect before actually buying one.
