Hello,
This has been happening several times. The latest was after watching Top Gun which finished at 10pm on channel 2.1. When I exit out of watching a channel or a recorded program it will not return to the program guide. I have a control alt delete to launch task manager to exit Nlite and relaunch it.
I have Nlite running on a client machine.
Enclosed are the logs from Nlite on the server. I do not know how to find the logs on Nlite on a client and the event viewer from the client machine.
Maybe this was obvious to everyone else, but ... OMG, the Easy way to Add a single channel to NextPVR.
My setup: HDhomerunPrime (three tuners), Cable Card, Comcast Cable, 366 Scanned channels, I keep 95 channels.
Deleting a channel was easy. Adding a channel was a pain. I though I had to set everything up from scratch (I was Wrong).
[Upper Right] Settings -> [Left] Devices : Select a Tuner, [Upper Right Blue] Scan Channels,
[Pop Up] Guide and Scan, [Upper Left Blue little box] Untick "Number" (all the little blue box Ticks should now be reset).
Tick the Single Channel you want to Add, [Lower Right] Save.
Read the Note to the left of "Save": "No changes will be made until you hit 'Save'. When you do hit 'Save' any new channels you have ticked will be added. Any existing channels will still be there."
To copy the change(s) to the other tuners:
[Upper Right] Settings -> [Left] Devices : Select another Tuner, [Upper Right] Trash Can, [Lower Right] Save.
[Upper Right] Settings -> [Left] Devices : Select the now empty Tuner, It will ask you if you want to copy the first Tuner, respond: Yes.
Hello,
I have a recording that seems to have been cut short recording but will play to completion in VLC.
It is Mrs Doubtfire recorded back on 1-19-23 at 7:12 to 9:23 am.
I suspect this the same that is happening with my Mothers nextpvr as well.
I am having a lot of failed recordings with error [Failed: Channel not found. Deleted?] At first, i was getting [Failed: No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.] and I assumed this was because I had ATSC 3.0 channels on all 4 of my HDHomeRun Flex 4K tuners. During a switch from XMLTV to Schedules Direct, I deleted all channels and rescanned, which was probably unnecessary, but removed ATSC 3.0 channels from tuners 2 and 3, since it appears to only use 0 and 1. The no data delivered errors have stopped, but the Channel not found errors are killing me. I thought it was only ATSC 3.0 channels that had that problem, but tonight I had it on a regular 1.0 channel (30.1). Log attached in case anyone has a chance to take a look, thanks!
I have Version: 5.2.7.220410 installed on two Windows 10 PCs.
I Installed the latest version on one of the two PCs and I can no longer reliably view my HDhomerunPrime tuner on the newer version 6.x of NextPVR.
I notice three differences:
1. If I select a Channel to view in NextPVR, NextPVR will play video (always on tuner 2 numbered 0, 1, 2) for a few seconds and then stop with a streaming error.
2. If my third tuner (tuner 2 numbered 0, 1, 2) is in use by Windows Media Center (WMC). Selecting a Channel in NextPVR fails (the video stream drops immediately).
3. If I move WMC to tuner 1 (by starting NextPVR before WMC) NextPVR will play video for a few seconds and then stop with a streaming error (like #1).
I'd like to reinstall Version: 5.2.7.220410 and verify my issues go away.
My DVR has been running Win 7 forever and using NextPVR v4. I finally got around to upgrading to Windows 10, but now I have a weird audio issue where anything recorded through NextPVR has super low audio. (even playing shows that were recorded before I upgraded the OS) I don't have this issue with any other files outside of the program.
Anyway, I didn't even realize there was a v5 as I never got a ding in my settings telling me there was an update. I'm guessing my audio issue is because I need to upgrade to v5, but I have a couple questions first.

I have migrated from v4 to v6 (under windows 10 - 64 bit - Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4400 HD)
I have a satellite dish with 2 LNBs and a 2-way switch for Hotbird 13 E and Astra 19.2 E
When I scan I find channels on Hotbird but nothing on ASTRA when I do it from v6
I tried again with v4 and it works so it seems that there is no issue with the Hauppauge card.
I noticed that in v4 the 2 LNBs are scanned in sequence (Hotbird and ASTRA) and only then I am asked to save the channels
in V6 it scans the first satellite (Hotbird) than it asks to save and then when I scan again I get the option to select only one satellite (Hotbird again)
I tried to change the order in which I enter the satellites (ASTRA and Hotbird) but nothing changes
Can you help me?
I'm using NextPVR Client ( NextPVR v6.1.1.221106 release).
I am loading the NextPVR Client at startup on a Windows 10 computer (22H2). If the shortcut used at startup indicates Maximised window NextPVR does not display full screen. The task bar for Windows 10 is still visible and the standard windows Control bar is present at the top of the window. If the Restore Down Window control is used on NextPVR to display a small window, and then clicked again to Maximise then the NextPVR window IS displayed full screen (full TV screen with no window controls).
Is there a way to force the NextPVR Client to go straight to the full screen mode with no window controls?
Regards
Rauleigh Webb
