the url for the epg xml file used has changed location. is there a way of replacng the url for all associated channels in Next pvr without stepping through each channel. Is this in an ini file or the db

Web UI - Click VOD - select a category that starts with a single quote (e.g. '80s Rewind).  The list is empty.  

For other categories the list comes back correctly

More background: in the logs I notice that the "filter" parameter is empty for service calls with "method: vod.list".  Filter is usually filled for other categories.

Hoping for help please.
Encountering issues when attempting to view satellite channels which have apparently been scanned
Using a Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-S2 I can save channels and view shows Kaffeine (on the same machine using ubuntu 22.04 GUI.but running of a different microSD card). Did this to confirm sig from sat was OK
But when I revert to NextPVR on ubuntu server 22.04 booting from a different microSD, the PVR web interface loads OK on another m/c on my LAN.
I have successfully scanned and saved selection of 26 channels.
I can see them listed under settings_Channels
BUT
When I move channels on the top row, adjacent to NextPVR top left corner nothing is displayed.
and
When trying machine running KODI the TV menu shows channels listed as per web page but clicking on any one brings up a momentary play lozenge then fails to deliver


Ubuntu server running nextPVR is a recent fresh install - so too is NextPVR.
I note from the logs that my Schedules Direct membership is stated as expired "2024-01-03T20:01:43Z"
I renewed until Jan 24. plus I have double checked my Uname & PW

I have ripped my DVDs using DVDFab which includes he subtitles. I am able to use subtitles when using VLC to play the videos. However when playing the same videos from within NPVR I cannot see the subtitles.

How can I get subtitles to work in NPVR?

I have the newer Tablo Quad HDMI model and it uses different encoding than the streaming only models and many devices can not even "see" the HDMI model unless you can manually enter the ip address.

I managed to get Tablo Ripper to work and also Tablo Tools works, but you have to add the ip as a "test device" was the only way I could get it to work.

I am now trying to get it to work with NextPVR and have no idea where to start as no way to add devices ip manually in it.

My backend is Windows NextPVR v6. I have a rpi3 running raspbian 8 jessie which no longer gets updates. The latest available dpkg packages gave me this:

Kodi 17.3
NextPVR PVR Client 2.14.3

Is it possible to install a newer NextPVR PVR Client on Kodi 17.3 that would allow pausing live TV (Timeshift or Extended Timeshift)? I also have a rpi2 running LibreElec and it stopped updating with Kodi 18.9 and NextPVR PVR Client 3.3.1 and Timeshift works there.

I know little about kodi but could I add the LibreElec kodi addon repository to raspbian's Kodi 17.3 and install NextPVR PVR Client 3.3.1 there or install a newer NextPVR PVR Client from a zipfile? I would remove the raspbian kodi-pvr-nextpvr package first to avoid conflicts.

Any suggestions? Major changes to the OS are not possible for me and would instead just tolerate the lack of timeshift.

Hello,  been using NextPVR 5/6 for some time now, with both DVB-T tuners and STB using Hauppauge Colossus 2 card and Haupblast.exe for the IR blasting (learniong the codes with Hauppauges's IRblast utility.

I would like to use a second colossus card for a 2nd STB.
My understanding is that only one IR blaster will work in this configuration.  Is this correct?

Can NExtPVR V6 support Tuners hosted on a different PC?
ie. Could I install the 2nd colossus card in another PC, and have my main NextPVR server use it?

I have been messing around with Plex and Xteve, and NextPVR generates an m3u list, and Xsteve the guide data, and it works running Xteve on each machine under Plex.

The issue being that it is quite complex and not as elegant as native NextPVR clients.

I do have a proxmox server, and tried hosting 2 instances of Windows as separate VM's, and it worked, so could install NextPVR and Irblast on each instance, but before doing so just wondered if it is even possible to do with NextPVR?

I guess I would have to find an IRblasing solution for the 2nd colossus card if both cards in in the same PC, as NextPVR has no issues in that regard, it is just the IR blasting that is problematic.

Any suggestions?

My mother's NextPVR had a malfunction.  Not sure what she was doing to make it happen.  Just happy we have remote access just for these purposes.  Perhaps someone can assist me in this.

Is the desktop app included with the linux installation?

back in sept, 2022 i installed version 5 and it worked fine for awhile. Then I couldn't login any longer. the old style 4.2.4 exe worked fine, so i've been using that since sept. decided to look into the problem now. still doesn't work. just reinstalled over the top of what i had. doing some recordings now, so don't want to unistall for a bit.  when i start what was a chrome shortcut with http://localhost:8866/ i get 

Server Error in '/' Application.
