I have 2 separate computers running Windows 11 and NextPvr version 6
One Homerun 3 channel cable card box.
If one computer is using one of the 3 Homerun channels, the other computer can not use either of the 2 unused channels.

I upgraded to Version: 6.1.1.221106  today and it seems like all is well except I can't access settings from my laptop connected to my "server" over my LAN.  I can access settings from the server via the web app and the desktop app.  I believe when I was running Version 5, I was able to access and edit settings from my laptop.

I can log into NextPVR from the laptop and I can see the Main Page (NextPVR) and the Channels, TV Guide, Search, Recordings, and Scheduler pages.  When I click on Settings, I get the page with all the settings menu items on the left side of the page, but if I click on any of the items, I just continue to see the menu items. 

I'm using Firefox 109.0.

Today nextpvr (6.1.1.221106)has stopped working. It looks like the Service and/or Server isn't running. When I look at the services, NextPVR Service isn't running and when I try to start it I get the below message...

"Windows could not start the NextPVR Service on Local Computer. Error 193:0xc1"
If I run the NextPVRServer.exe manually it all works as it should. It does show "No C:\Users\Public\NPVR-Data\Scripts\PreStartup.bat" I can confirm that folder is empty.

So maybe the server element isn't starting automatically.
Where to go now? What else would you like to know?

I've reinstalled Nextpvr.
Windows 10, 64GB Memory. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core.

Spent my penny but it only shows 12 channels out of 20+.  Tried scrolling, settings, banging on the desk, no joy.

Kodi works but not happy with interface.

I've been using version 5.2.0 with no problems since I installed it.
Yesterday I decided to install the latest version. Now NEXTPVR is completely broken!

I've done a Windows System Restore to a few days ago, and now the Desktop Client opens, but says "unable to connect to the remote server".

I haven't a clue how to fix it!

I have installed npvr on a Docker container.

The devices are seen discovered.

When I try to scan for the channels, I am limited to these choices:


But I an living on the southshore of Montreal so this makes no sense.

There is no option to justs scan 1-69 ?

I recently purchased a basic USB 3.0 capture card and was wondering if there are any tips on setup the extras xml setup (a template would be a great starting point to try different ffmpeg variables that work with my setup). I have tried various ffmpeg commands and can get the video and audio to play in a *.mp4 format (albeit audio is just static at the moment). I also have created the extras-*.xml file so I can see my device in nextpvr running the latest server. I am basically just trying to figure out how to be able to capture my cable box hdmi output into nextpvr, and can go from there to figuring out ir blaster setups if I can get this working.
I currently also have an HD PVR 2 that is working fine, but the channel changing is taking 10 to 15 seconds, so I'm hoping that the capture card (being a more recent device) will allow for quicker channel changing.
I'm also still struggling to figure out why the cable box audio is just static noise, but I'm thinking it has to do with the sample rates not matching up. If more specifics are needed, please ask and I'll try to provide more information or further clarification.

Be aware there may be disruption on Freesat as BBC goes all HD getting rid of SD Channels over 2023. The BBC regional studios are only just being upgraded to HD because of the high cost so regional news has only ever been in SD. So the BBC has to create around 15 or more new BBC1 regional HD channels! The BBC has a new transponder on 12421.5 Mhz where some SD and radio channels have been moved. The changes to the EPG will happen seamlessly for those with a real Freesat receiver but the rest of us will need to search for the new channels or those that have moved so disapeared!!

I recently moved NextPVR to a new computer. I exported my recordings from the old installation, then imported them into the new. The recordings themselves are fine, but there's a problem with the scheduled recurring recordings. Many of them are for the wrong channel. Is there any way to edit the channel for a recurring recording?
