Hi. I'm recording most of the olympics and getting large files 6-30GB each and the problem is that most of the files aren't reporting the proper time making skipping/fast forward impossible and comskip is all off. For instance, a 6 hr file is reporting as 1h 28m. I can't skip once GBPVR hits 1:28 or it closes the file and I can't skip normally anyway as a 1 min skip seems to skip random amounts of time.
How do I fix these files or GBPVR without exporting them?
So I recently reformatted my computer from Win 7 x86 to x64 and then something weird happens. I click to open the program, and it opens, but I don't see anything. I was thinking it might be the runtime or the 64 bit but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help!
At first - it detected only dvb-t part of my hybrid Kworld 210SE, and it was detected as KWORLD 220 Philips Digital Tuner.
But I was glad to see that scannig found all the DVB-T channels I wanted. The only problem - I could not map them to my channel list. When clicking checkboxes I got first this:
1) Is there any difference in behavior in checking the "Run during recording" box & adding comskip to ParallelProcessing.bat? (other than PP.bat allows other commands along w/ comskip)
2) If ParallelProcessing.bat & PostProcessing.bat both exist, will Post wait for Parallel to complete before running?

as I got enough of MediaPortal and it's thousands of problems I tried GB-PVR yesterday.
It looks very clean, fast and nice.
Now I got two questions, maybe someone can help me
Question 1:
To find all the channels of my provider (Kabel BW, Germany) I made a new ini-file based on the frequencies which MediaPortal scans.
Unfortunately GB-PVR doesn't find the two channels "Das Erste HD" and "ZDF HD".
I tried to manually add those channels, but I don't exactly know how.
Can someone help me adding the two channels or solving the problem that GB-PVR doesn't find them?
Question 2:
When switching between channels sometimes the screen turns black and I can only hear audio.
Sometimes the image of the old channel freezes and I hear the audio of the new channel.
How can this be solved?

I've got GB-PVR recording a couple of channels continously, and has been happy to do so for several weeks.
Oddly, it stopped yesterday at 08:15, even though according to the Recording Status it was still going.
I've add a look at the RecordingService log (attached), which is shows it ticking along quite happily until 08:15 and then repeated lines of Conversion thread configured for ASAP:

A restart of the machine seems to have resolved it, but I was wondering if anyones come across it before? If it's just a one off? Or if i should be looking out for something...
could you make the snapshot exe= configurable like the profiles for thumbnail snapshots?
this would allow using a batch file to enable things like making cut points for comskip or editing, different snapshot makers, maybe resetting last_viewed? basically anything that needs to be done on certain frames or just needs activation while playing..
oh and an OSD toggle in config...so we can toggle on or off with remote and it sticks, or a settable delay time..[would help for pch too]
and make the timeline always appear when info does..sometimes can't get timeline up without pausing..tho info appears always with blue button..
now, even if paused, the osd button brings them both up, only to have timeline go away while info stays forever..
All of a sudden out of nowhere, it seems GBPVR is squashing my picture down to make it widescreen no matter what dimensions the actual picture is. Full screen is being squashed to widescreen, and widescreen is being quashed down to really widescreen. This has nothing to do with the picture from the STB, and it looks like this on old recordings that I know are perfectly fine too. This also is only happening to the actual video being played not the entire screen. What could have happened?
I am looking to setup a client/ server system. I will be using two win 7 pc and I want the server to do all the heavly lifting, transcoding, econding etc., and for the client to just playback the media files. The client will be severly underpowered.
