Just got the KWorld UB435-Q a couple of days ago. Attempted to run it on my XP box with a PVR-150...but couldn't get things setup right. Loaded the 435 on my Windows 7 box with a new install of GBPVR.
I can watch live TV & record with the device...but it will not switch channels to do different shows on other channels. From what it's looked like...it will only record on the channel you were either watching or recording from the last time you used it. On the other hand...WMC will switch channels automatically. Am I doing something wrong?
I'm having a heck of a time trying to get this to work. I have insstalled drivers and the software that cam eiwth my TVR card, but even with the provided software I get audio but only a frozen image - if I change channels I get the right audio for that channel but the video does not change - and in trying to set up GB-PVR I cannot even get it to scan for channels because I cannot find the right listing for my capture card in the list....is there one that should work or a way to get GB-PVR to work on mine? I appreciate any input or ideas, and thanks in advacne foy your time.
I am trying to fix an issue with my SCAN file and would much appreciate if anyone using the Melbourne Dandenong transmitter could post a SCAN-n.CACHE file from their BDA Folder. I have tried using the scanchannelsbda utility but it does not appear to provide the PCR numbers.
I first tried to remove the old installation which got corrupted and won't start, keeping the processors at 100% load. Unfortunately, the unistallation program didn't work (for me anyway).
Then, I stopped all Windows XP programs and clicked the installer to install on top of the old installation. Installation proceeded very fast, till the message "0 seconds of installation remain" (or something like it, sorry, memory fails me often). and there installation stays anchored. There is a small (about .75 mm) gap persisting between the blue bar and the right leg of the bar's rectangular frame. I gave it 10+ minutes to finish each time I reinstalled, to no end.
Then, I deleted Devnz off the C: drive and went into the Registry to delete GB-PVR's fields. But this is an interminable job in itself, since GB-PVR embeds itself into an incredible number of fields. I think it took me about 3/4 of an hour to delete a quarter of what is to be deleted.
What am I doing wrong? Have anyone else encountered this or any similar problem?
I have installed mvpmcx2 and GB-PVR on my PC and Popcorn Hour A110.
I'm able to browse and play the music files which are on the harddisk in my Popcorn with the PVRX2 application on my PC. The sound comes from the speakers in my PC, but I want it to play through the speakers of my stereo connected to the Popcorn. Is this possible?
I previously used an old CRT TV, but now I have a 16:9 LCD. I'd like to use the Remove Letterbox aspect ratio to zoom 4:3 SD video with bars to fill the screen, however, it only seems to be an option when using VMR9. Unfortunately, HD video performance is poor with VMR9, but is fine with EVR or Overlay. What's strange is I used to play HD files on the old SD TV just fine with VMR9, but I guess it was a much smaller area it had to draw to. So, is there any way to zoom without using VMR9? Thanks.
that the latest driver may not suit this card. These symptoms are consistent with my experience (audio and even video vanishing until a restart). I will be rolling back to 9-9 to try to deal with it.
However, this card with the Avivo codecs (and the CoreAVC h.264 decoder) was working very well until this afternoon, when suddenly I lost the ability to watch 1080i. I have checked very carefully, and none of my codecs or decoders have changed. Any ideas?
I purchased, on line, a new USB DVB-T , without a label nor name. It came with Arcsoft Total Media software. This package works fine with live TV/radio. But it wont let me edit the saved mpeg files. I presume that the software has been doctored in China, as there is no version number mentioned either
So, I downloaded GB-PVR, but I now cant get live TV/radio at all.
Also I downloaded GraphEdit, for which the following file was used:
[AA PCTV]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=USB DVB-T TV Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=USB DVB-T Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
On setting up the 2 filters in GraphEdit, it says : Can not connect. It does not run.
For days I tried.
No doubt I missed some things along the way, but can't find what.
Hope someone can help
Thank you
