Is there a way of preventing ParallelProcessing.sh from executing if the channel name contains "BBC"?
There are no adverts on BBC channels and running comskip can cause spurious advert breaks to be detected which then interrupts the recording playback flow.
The channel name is not passed as a CLI parameter, so wondered if there was another approach?
Good morning,
I've an issue on android app. When I'm playing a live channel and swipe left or right, the video freeze immediately and i have to restart the channel.
It happens both on Samsung S21 Ultra with Android 13 and on Nvidia Shield with last update available.
I would like to request (if possible) for XMLTV Export Link for Electronic Program Guide Purposes when using in conjunction with the NextPVR .m3u link.
The M3U works fine but I don't like using it without any Guide Data to accompany it, as it makes recordings difficult.
I've been running NextPVR for quite some time in a windows VM with no issues. Recently, I started playing around with docker and wanted to try out a container instead. I'm putting the config and recording files on a NAS share -- I know it's working because the config folder fills up with files as soon as the container is started.
The problem is that there still seems to be some kind of problem (permissions?) with the database. I'm consistently getting a "database is locked" error in the container log.
Any ideas what might be happening. Docker is new to me, so assume nothing
The log from the container is attached. There isn't much in the NextPVR logs; mostly the same information.
the column rating in the epg_event table used to be populated by SD with the content rating data however recently I noticed that this is no longer the case. How can I begin to debug whether this is an import issue in NextPVR or an issue where the data is not being provided by SD? Typically the data would be expressed as a decimal value of 16 or 18 for parental guidance films.
All other data from SD comes thru fine to populate epg_event, it's just this one lick of data long missing. I use the rating column with some SQL scripting to determine if a re-recording of a previously recorded film should be performed (sometimes I got a 16 recording locally, but an uncut 18 event is upcoming), otherwise if there's no rating - or a lower rating - then the planned recording is deleted.
I am in Germany, postcode 60318 using the Horizon TV SD-JSON lineup.
Is there anyway to easily get the raw SD data from NextPVR and start to work backwords from the front-end?
I've been running NextPVR for many months now and it's been working great. Got up this morning to view recorded news and nothing has recorded. Went to the guide and nothing is there. Poked around some and see that log showed "No /var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/PreStartup.sh". Went to /var/nextpvr/scripts and there that entire directory is empty. I made no changes to anything from last night to now... yesterday's recordings are there and working fine. Just no guide or recording capability this morning.
I copied the zip files to the next pvr directory and deleted the 2 json files.... then ran this command...which seems indicated that deleting of the files was an error?
C:\Program Files\NextPVR>NextTool.exe -copy

I have nextpvr
Version: 6.1.1.221106
I am trying to import my version 4 db3, step 2 would to try and get my wvm files from media center imported, but for now I would be happy with the version 4 data....
Any ideas?
I've discovered that the very first (and only the first) time after starting up the UI client, when I press pause during playback, the recording quits back to the npvr menu.
Subsequent pauses work fine.
And it did happen even without logs.....but I can dig them out if it's not reproduceable from your side.
