I am testing NextPVR. Very nice web interface. I have 2 DVR instances on
my local network (NextPVR and HDHomerun). To exist peacefully, I have
subnetted 4 hdhomerun tuners off the raspberry pi running NextPVR. The
hdhomerun record engine has no visibilty to this subnet. The NextPVR
instance can see 8 hdhomerun tuners (4 on subnet 4 on local net).
Fortunately, NextPVR allows me to disable the 4 tuners on the local
network, thank you developers.
NextPVR going from idle to one tuner in use, always selects tuner 1. This
leaves 3 tuners idle. With NextPVR idle, I fire up smplayer and connect
to NextPVR's subnetted tuner 1. Using Kodi, I ask NextPVR to stream a
channel. AFter a pause (20 seconds), Kodi says there has been a failure
and suggests I read the log. I grabbed a copy of the kodi.log and a copy of
nrecord.log. kodi.log gave scant insight. However, nrecord.log had several
instances (13) of '[ERROR][17] 804 Tuner In Use'. I was suprised to see
NextPVR give up without trying one of the 3 idle tuners. Am I missing
something?
As my membership will attest, I am new to this forum, perhaps in need of
some guidance. Not sure about attaching log file. I have it if it would
help.
NextPVR on raspberry pi is 'Version: 6.1.1.221106'. Raspberry pi is
RPI4b (4GB) running 'bullseye 32 bit'. I get the EPG for NextPVR via
my HDHomerun DVR subscription 3 times a day.
Is it possible to change the aspect ratio when the player is maximized in the web interface? It auto fills making it quite difficult to watch on a cell phone or with an ultra wide monitor. The source is a Verizon FiOS box. It's happening on all screens that aren't 16:9. I'm also using different browsers, desktop is Firefox and Phone is Kiwi. I've captured 2 examples via the Phone.
I can't get Schedule Direct to update the EPG for my hdhomerun quatro running on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS

Have been trying to get 4-port diseqc working but channels are only found on Astra 19.2
Using GigaSystem 17/8 G switch with AA on Astra 19.2E, AB on Hotbird 13.0E, BA on Astra 23.5E and BB on Astra 28.2E.
It goes through the motions of scanning all, but only shows Astra 19.2E channels. I have tried Tvheadend which finds all expected channels on all 4 satellites.
Hardware is i5 8-core CPU, OS is Debian 11.
Behaviour is same on Raspberry Pi Bullseye 32- or 64-bit versions.
Installation per https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=59390
Any pointers?
since I updated to version 6, I am no longer able to see my videos on demand VOD. I deleted and reinstalled everything and it still doesn't work. I would like to try again with version 5.. is it possible? before the update it took a fraction of a second with VODs but now it takes time, in addition to no longer having thumbnails and categories. I attach screenshots and also of my memory and processor at work.
I have experienced 2 recent episodes where several recordings failed. Yesterday it was 2 episodes of Young Sheldon and Saturday Night Live. I believe the logs will indicate the prior failures, as I don't remember the shows at this moment. Between the 2 episodes, I didn't do anything and everything was okay until yesterday.
See attached logs.
Let me know if you need more, evidently my full zip is too large and won't upload. I zipped just the nrecord* logs.

I just installed the latest version of V6 but it will not find my tuner device, a Hauppauge DCR-3250 Triple Tuner that has served me well operating with NextPVR V4. In fact V4 operates perfectly on the same machine running Win11.
HDHomeRun-Setup also does not fine the Hauppauge device but HDHomeRun VIEW shows a perfect picture. Is this to be expected? Is there a setting I missed?
I had not updated from 4.2.5 for a long time, because I didn't get any notice of updates past that. Then I saw that it was up to version 6 and updated, but now it will not open several menu items on the Windows Desktop Client. TV Listings, TV Recordings, Trailers, Volume and Weather will not open on pushing the Enter key or clicking with the mouse.
Live TV, What's New, Search, Scheduler, DVD, and Exit all work when I use the Enter Key and clicking with the mouse.
On the Web App, though, everything is working fine. I can see guide and recordings just fine.
I'll post on Kodi's forum about this particular problem, since it is on Kodi 20 beta, but the guide is blank (grey bars for each channel but no listings) for all channels on Kodi when I open that.
