I've just loaded GBPVR and gone throught the config OK (I think). The problem is when I using PVRX2 I don't get live TV or the programme guide. No errors, nothing. I got the sample picture on the co0nfig screen when the channels were loading. I'm using Vista and a Compro E900F twin tuner card.
Using PVRX2 1.4.7 under Windows XP SP3. DVB-T Capture card is Medion BDA Digital Capture. In UK, selected Midlands etc., transmitter Oxford.
Setup all works fine following the PDF setup guide until I get to channel scan. Scans 1 of 6 etc., till 7 of 6, then stops for ever with hourglass cursor until I click "STOP" button. No channels found.
Have checked I have a signal by plugging my laptop + USB DVB stick into same socket - all fine. On this computer, previously worked fine with ShowShifter and with MediaPortal.
My dad has asked me to get him a new video card for his PC so he can play back HD video without stuttering, and with hardware decoding so it doesn't tie up his CPU. Any suggestions? His computer is a Dell Optiplex Core Duo-Conroe, it has an open PCIe 16x slot in it.
I'm using GB-PVR with TBS Q-BOX II DVB-S2 - USB, and I don't know the reason, but I get an error when try to watch Live TV. Happens when I watch a channel, exit to main menu and go back to Live TV (same channel or other one), I get a black screen, and an error in log file:

The same error occurs when I scan new channels and try to update EPG using DVB EPG. When I try to pause a live tv, appears a message: "there is no free tuner..."
I have a BaseButtonListUiTask based plugin. I'd like to programmatically set the focus to the list control when the user selects one of the buttons. Is this possible?
Kworld 330U USB ATSC tuner, with Kworld indoor digital antenna and the Arcsoft TotalMedia software installed. Audio and Video are not stable few digital channel received.
Purchased Philips SDV2780 Indoor UHF/HDTV Antenna. Audio and Video still unstable slightly better but not veiwable becausing of the cracking in the Audio and Video.
I am not sure if the problem is caused by the tuner or if it is an antenna prroblem. Digital Signal towers about 45 miles away from location tall office buildings dense populated area.
I can record and play back recordings fine, but can't watch any live tv, just get a black screen for a second and then back to the guide. I am running win7 32 bit, hdhomerun tuner tuning qam channels. I am also having an issue where config.exe hangs when I try to click ok on any screen and I have to kill the process, dont know if the two things are in any way related. Here is what I see in the logs when trying to watch live tv.

First off, I have to say that I am VERY impressed with GB-PVR. It'll eventually replace Windows Media Center in my house, especially if I can get an answer to this post. What I'm looking for, is the ability to send commands to GB-PVR to start/stop recording a specific channel at varying times during the day or night. This is because, I have X10 ActiveHome Pro running which performs my home automation functions as well as security functions. I have X10 wireless cameras which feed a receiver connected to my WinTV 150 card. The goal is to have a macro which executes a batch file to start and stop recording when a motion sensor is triggered. It works with WinTV 2k, but it takes so long for the application to launch that whatever triggered the event has gone out of the view of the camera. I see that GBRecord offered a function like this, but it's no longer supported (or even downloadable). Does this function exist in GB-PVR? If so, what would the command syntax be to start or stop recording Channel 1? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Also, I see that a Homeseer plugin exists to control X10 devices. Any interest out there to support the AHP application?
