I have upgraded to 1.4.7 but am still having issues with the HD-PVR and timeshift. Every time I change channels it starts playing the original channel timeshift was started on. In the attached logs I started timeshift on Planet Earth which worked correctly then went up one channel to 'Til Death but it starts back over at the beginning of Planet Earth. It does this on each channel change and then quits out to the menu when it gets to the end of the Planet Earth file. The files for the other channels are being created it just never switches to them.
Man, I must be blind. I like to record all my shows to C:\Shows for external processes that run. That way I can just target everything in that folder.
After installing 1.4.7, I can't find the checkbox that indicates whether you want each show to record into it's own folder. It used to be on the Misc tab and was the checkbox under Extra Features labelled 'Auto-create folders when recording'.
I'm trying to do a fresh install of XP on a new drive because my old install is corrupt several times over (freezes, resets), not to mention old. One problem is the old install writes to my Sata drives at around 2MB/s, and after trying to fix that through a series of published fixes for that type of problem, I've decided to go with the new install.
The main thing holding me back from using the new installation right now is that I can't find the serial number for the copy of WinDVD that came with my plextor CD, though I have the CD, so I can't install it on the new XP install.
The old XP install is still intact, and I still use it daily so I can keep my tv402u recording, so presumably the codecs are all in place there, they just need to be registered on the new install (i hope?)
Sub posted a long time ago the two things were the Intervideo audio encoder and Intervideo MPEG mux. But if there were any GBPVR files that might point to the exact file name, that would be a big help. Any ideas about where to look?
Can you make it so it autoloads the weather when PVRX2 loads? It is kinda annoying to have to wait while it refreshes when I click on it. It takes about a minute because I assume its downloading all the profiles.
When I boot my PCH to GBPVR, the main menu is huge and overscans the tv. I'm using a 36" tv (not HD....yet!) and all recordings and live tv play just fine. It's just the menu that is oversize.
I've changed from Mayhem to CS with no change. I've set the PCH TV size to 4:3 but no settings make any difference with the menu, just the playback size.
What am I missing? I'm sure it's obvious and I just can't see it.
