I am interested in adding a second ir blaster with separate software to my server and stumbled upon the Proximis PIR-1. This blaster uses girder and I am wondering how to integrate girder with nextpvr for ir blasting. What is the command and arguments. Thanks.
Can not view programs from the Menu,TV Guide. Can record programs from the Menu,TV guide and then watch the recordering.
Have reinstalled NextPVR several times from scratch, but still unable to view TV Guide programs without first recording them.

I've been meaning to post these for, well, a long time. Not biggies but annoyances. Both in the Web App, running on Edge. Now running V6 but issues in V5 also.
1. Programmes starting with digits are not found unless the digits are omitted from the search string:
so "9/11: 102 Minutes That Changed the World" will not be found if searching for "9/11" or any string starting with that, but "minutes that changed the world" will find it.
This has been an issue for several years for me.
2. When displaying the recording settings from the schedular list the Directory does not always reflect the setting for the recording. I am not sure if it is showing the default or the last edited entry, but whichever recording I choose the displayed value is always the same, unless I change it. Hope that makes sense.
I've also just found a similar issue affecting the edit dialog on a manual recording. The Channel drop down does not reflect the value set for the recording.

I was away for a few days and expected a couple baseball games to have recorded in my absence. What I found was that I have no recordings scheduled at all where they should be around 40. Instead, all the previously scheduled recordings are showing as conflicts. I'm kind of in panic mode with the baseball post season and the new fall TV season coming soon.
I recently installed Express VPN on the PC, which probably has something to do with the issue. I uninstalled the VPN, but the issues with the recordings remain.
Live TV works fine.
Any idea how I can get the recorder and scheduler fixed and remove the conflicts? If nothing else, I'd be OK just getting it working, even if it means setting up my scheduled records again.
I’m having trouble adding a Schedules Direct channel lineup to my list of sources. I tried adding it in NextPVR and got the list of possible lineup choices but when I try to add the chosen lineup I keep getting, “localhost:8866 says undefined”. The localhost:8866 looks like a port setting but I don’t know what “undefined is indicating or what to do to get things working. (Using the latest version, 6.0, of NextPVR)
I have the latest NPVR version running on Windows 10 version 21H2. I have two Hauppague tuners connected to my PC, a Win-TV HVR-950 and a WinTV-Dual HD. Both are using the latest drivers from Hauppauge. The problem I have is that NPVR is somehow leaving the WinTV-Dual HD tuner active while not actually recording anything (both lights on the tuner are left on - power on and recording). From the attached picture, you can see that NPVR knows the tuner exists, but something (Windows?) has removed it from the Device Manager's sound and video devices.
I checked the Events app and an Error number 1000 is recorded for NPVR. The show that was scheduled to record actually did record, but I think NPVR switched tuners to accomplish that. I tried to save all the NPVR log files while nothing was being recorded per the Backend Status window of the tray app, but two log files were active so 7-Zip may not have saved those properly.
I really only know when this happens because usually a scheduled recording is missed without prior notification that something is wrong with NPVR or the tuners. I hope this issue can be addressed. Thanks
Recently got a new TV and installed uidroid and updated NPVR on the "server".
When I watch a recording on the "android tv", it is usually fine, however when I watch live TV is only works occasionally. Some channels never work, some usually work, but there is no pattern (I checked which frequencies they are on and no correlation).
The logs from the server suggest that nothing is going wrong at the server end.

If I use the web interface on the TV, I can watch live TV no problem.
Where should I look?
I'm running ver 6 and was wanting to update epg manually instead of using the update epg on the settings page. Is there a command line switch that works for updating the epg just like clicking update epg on the settings page?
Just updated to v6. Thanks for all of your hard work. I was thinking for my hauppauge wintv clear qam tuners, it would be great if nextpvr displayed the atsc channel numbers instead of randomly assigning a channel. Thanks.
