Anyone have a good comskip ini that works with H.264? I've got the latest build with H.264 support but the default ini does not effectively pick up the ad breaks.
I am having an issue when using the HD-PVR and time shift mode. It will work on the initial channel but hangs on channel change. I have confirmed the resolution isn;t changing on the input and I am not using the Hauppauge blaster. After trying to change channels you can not watch anything until you restart the recording service.

I am trying to get GBPVR up and running on a Server 2008 machine. I am using 1.3.11 with all updates. Server 2008 has all updates applied. I have followed the instructions for installing the BDA files from a Vista install and have installed Desktop Experience. I have ffdshow installed as well as CoreAVC. DirectX is installed as well.
I find no channels when I do a scan with GBPVR. If I use the tuning address found on my XP rig I get the message: "No signal detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong enough." I can tune the channels directly from the HDHR software. I have GBPVR set up exactly like I do on my two XP rigs, that work. I have attached my logs as well. Can the HDHR work with GBPVR on Server 2008? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
When searching QAM signals with my Hauppauge HVR-1250 (v1.34 latest driver), it doesn’t find 84-1. The card finds all other QAM stations except 84-1. I’ve scanned using WinTV v7 and GBPVR software, neither finds 84-1. My HDTV in the family room successfully finds 84-1.
I tried all nine combinations using the "QAM.ini manager" and none found 84-1.
I thought possibly signal strength could be an issue. I ran the main cable (no switches) straight to the HVR-1250 and still no 84-1.
I’m at a loss here, I know the signal is there (my HDTV is tuning to 84-1) but I can’t get the HVR-1250 to find the channel. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I've mentioned this before, I'd like my HD channel recordings to ignore my autoconversion setings in the pocessing tab of config, and a step up from that would be for the HD channels to have their own autoconvert....please..pretty pretty please.
I can see 2 ways (in my rose tinted world) of doing this....
1/ have channel groups, group A get autoconverted group B (HD) dont...or get a different autoconvert. It would be up to the user to group the channels correctley.
2/ have some kind of interrogation of the recorded stream to determine if its HD, it could even be as simple as a mb/s limit over which it gets the HD treatment.......
Ok so i am following the guide here and when i scan for channels it only is showing the encrypted channels.. I can use VLC to watch the shows but i want to be able to record shows.. is there any logs i need to post?
GB-PVR does detect about 25 channels (give or take a few) I tried to watch these but all said they are encrypted.
