Now that prime day is almost here, I was thinking of getting a clear qam tuner. I was wondering if I will have to manually map the channels. I am on verizon fios and have an active schedules direct subscription. Thanks.
1. Updating the TV Guide gets me only 2 to 3 days' worth of TV Guide updates.
2. A recording scheduled for this afternoon, Sydney Time, seemed to be recording OK, but when it completed, I got an error message saying that no data had been received.
Interestingly, two other scheduled recordings, one last Thursday evening and one last Friday evening, both completed successfully.
Also, today, I have not been able to view Live TV at all. If I use the NPVR Desktop app, highlight a show in the TV Guide, and click on "Watch," nothing happens.
I'm also finding the same problem in the Web App.
I am wondering if I found a bug or four in the software.
I have ripped all of my DVDs to my PVR and then imported them (in a lengthy process) in to NPVR. Part of this lengthy process includes manually editing the XML file with the proper meta data, including the original air date. The program I wrote to edit the XML file adds the original air date and the date added as the same. With in the NPVR software on the PVR the correct date is shown, however in the web version has the date 136 years and a month or so later. For example the first episode of the Rate Patrol aired on September 13, 1966. The software has this date, however the web version has a date of 10/20/2102. Every episode for every program that aired before January 1, 1970 has similar results as shown in the images below. I get the same incorrect date on the NPVR app on two Android devices
After connecting through to the PVR through a web browser, as long as I stay connected I can do what ever I like as long as I want, days even. However as soon as I close that tab, not window I am unable to connect again even seconds later. I have to restart the NPVR service or reboot the PVR to connect again. I am able to connect to the NPVR app on two android devices with no problems
Once I do get logged in I get a blank page and have to refresh the page for it to load, in Chrome and Edge at least it seemed to load fine in Firefox when I tested it, but I usually use it in Chrome.
Lastly any program that I attempt to watch through a web browser, whether ir be Chrome, Edge or Firefox I get an error that says "Failed to start stream" even after clicking "How else can I watch my live tv and recordings?" (which only opens a new tab) beneath the play window. Internet Explorer will log in but that is about it. I assume that is because it is "dead" and has been replaced by Edge. On the NPVR app I get a message that "Transcoding Started", and am able to move the time bar but the recording never starts. Attempting to watch Live TV has similar results. On Android devices live TV never starts, through a browser I get Streaming Failed (transcoder exited).
I got my XMLTV generator working with Zap2It, but I'm having an issue. It takes the very first channel's listing and enters it for EVERY channel.
Example, along with a copy of the xml file embedded in a word file (the forum wouldn't accept the actual xtml file).
I haven't seen this issue posted anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
So here's a weird one. My Kodi NextPVR PVR Client addon will suddenly no longer load channels on three Raspberry devices and two Android devices when they previously worked. However on two older Android boxes (not been used for a while) it still loads channels just fine. All the settings remained the same but I notice that the two older Android boxes that work correctly have older versions on the addon. The working addons on the older Android box's are version 2.4.13 and the version not working on all other devices is 3.3.18.
All devices are on the same LAN, connecting to the same PC and with the same settings.
I have an installation running on a Raspberry Pi 3 with SSD and all works perfectly well with Kodi clients with one exception (finally).
Recordings *sometimes* come out in multiple overlapping video files. I can record the same network lets say 6 TV shows in one day and normally one to two of these recordings will be in three or more overlapping files. Please note these are overlapping files , yes ALL overlap, so it is not like the stream stopped.

I have the latest version installed on a clean build win11 pro machine with LAC Filters installed and set as the only decoder for nextpvr to use. I don't use transcoding as appletv plays mpeg-ts. When ever I playback a recorded program regardless of the channel it always plays aroubd 5-10 mins then stops skips backwards about 2 mins then starts playing again with the repeating of the skip happening again and again. When watching live tv I don't get this problem the general pkayback seems fine with an occasional drop of the signal which I expect with IPTV STREAMS.
I have seen a few posts here about the same issue but not seen any resolutions to solve it. Does anyone have any ideas as this basically makes watching recordings frustrating.
Other solutions like plex with xteve are not options. Have tried them and they all seem to have issues with streaming live tv in multiple ways. Nextpvr works in that respect and I like supporting platforms that are not commercial.
My other issue is with record time. Because of playback issues I have copied ts files to a separate folder and then used a converter that does rapid mp4 conversions to playback through infuse. When I add some ts files the durations show as 24hrs or hrs or some weird time inconsistent with the actual duration. I use schedules direct for epg. Any ideas on why this is happening? How I can fix?
Can send logs next time issue with playback happens. Record is more difficult unless I try to convert after every record occurs but will try to upload these to.
