I have the latest version installed on a clean build win11 pro machine with LAC Filters installed and set as the only decoder for nextpvr to use. I don't use transcoding as appletv plays mpeg-ts. When ever I playback a recorded program regardless of the channel it always plays aroubd 5-10 mins then stops skips backwards about 2 mins then starts playing again with the repeating of the skip happening again and again. When watching live tv I don't get this problem the general pkayback seems fine with an occasional drop of the signal which I expect with IPTV STREAMS.
I have seen a few posts here about the same issue but not seen any resolutions to solve it. Does anyone have any ideas as this basically makes watching recordings frustrating.
Other solutions like plex with xteve are not options. Have tried them and they all seem to have issues with streaming live tv in multiple ways. Nextpvr works in that respect and I like supporting platforms that are not commercial.
My other issue is with record time. Because of playback issues I have copied ts files to a separate folder and then used a converter that does rapid mp4 conversions to playback through infuse. When I add some ts files the durations show as 24hrs or hrs or some weird time inconsistent with the actual duration. I use schedules direct for epg. Any ideas on why this is happening? How I can fix?
Can send logs next time issue with playback happens. Record is more difficult unless I try to convert after every record occurs but will try to upload these to.
I'm running NextPVR on Pi OS. Recording to a local usb thumb drive works, yet recording to my NAS' smb-share doesn't.
The folder 'Manual Recordings' as well as a ts- and a ts.map-file are created on the smb-share, yet the files have 0 bytes.
(I started the test recording for the attached log at 20:34:
logs.zip (Size: 101.56 KB / Downloads: 2)
)
(When I switch user to nextpvr in the pi's shell, writing to the share mounted to '/home/nextpvr/shares/nas/' works flawlessly.)
When I try and play the running recording from the webif it doesn't work, since there hasn't been anything recorded. But trying to play the non existant recording somehow triggers it to actually start recording.
(20:37 in the log)
Then I cancelled the recording. (20:38 in the log)

I have several NextPVR servers working as backends to feed geoblocked IPTV. I do this by using the method=channel.m3u export the playlists via a Zerotier WAN to a main NextPVR Installation on a VPS closer to me. The Zerotier method stops the world from turning in to my streams, and draining my bandwith.
What would be amazing is to be able to get the epg in XML format so that I can feed that into my master NextPVR server instead of having to retag the EPG files with the correct ones. For example I have manually remove the TVGID entery for nextpvr-9101, and replace it with "BBC2.UK" It would be so nice if there was an easy way to pull the EPG from NextPVR so that I can use it on my other
server.
can anyone help me unravel this error? I had been successfully recording but the last time I setup to record (no hardware changes) it failed with the above message. I have attached the complete log zip but this is probably the relevant portion:

Basically one of my providers updates the EPG once every hour.
The EPG, and playlist is generated on a remote machine, and the regenerates every 30 mins, and obviously NextPVR doesn't update that frequently which leads to EPG eventually not being displayed.
Is there any way to get that EPG to update automatically. I was thiking perhaps running it through XMLTV or something which feeds the EPG into a file, which obviously automatically updates, and I point NPVR to use the generated file, or am I missing something.
I've noticed that for very long shows, there will be no title showing at all on the web EPG as the title is aligned to the left, and the start of the show is off the screen.
Since V5 I have had a hard time with freezing video. Have tried various decoders. Tablet and LAV work fairly well if I don't try to skip around a lot. The automatic commercial skip with comskip works well 99% of the time, but if I skip around like trying to skip stories in the news half the time the video will freeze and the audio will continue for a while and then stop. Sometimes I can get it to restart by fffwd and rev a few times, but then it may have skipped ahead several minutes. Sometimes I need to stop and restart the playback. ffdshow decoder: as soon as I hit play the program exits. Arcsoft and Microsoft decoders: Hit play and nothing happens. Seems to think it is playing since keys have no effect unless I hit stop, then it exits play and says the show has been watched to the end and do you want to delete it. Main concept decoder: No closed captions. SRT closed caption file is detected but if you select it no closed captions are displayed with any decoder. I am using the NEXTPVR Client. If I just let the show play 99% or better of the time it plays fine. I had one exception where the NextPVR playback would freeze at a certain point, but using three other programs there was just a disturbance there. Unfortunately, in playing with it a lot I accidentally erased it. Read More
