I just setup my HDHomeRun Prime and got it working. I'm trying to setup NextPVR now so I can first watch live TV then setup recording. I've scanned the device and channels for all three tuners, but I can't seem to watch TV through NextPVR. I can watch live TV through HDHR app on Windows. When I click Live TV, the sound for the show starts, but no video, then a popup that says the tuner is required for a recording and I can watch the recording or exit to main menu. I haven't setup any recordings yet.

What do I need to do to fix this?

I have used my current IPTV service on NextPVR for over a year now. I am switching from one server to another. 

When I try to import the m3u on the new, the list of channels do not show. When I try the same on the old, no channels show.

All I see in blue "0 channels no longer exist and have been deleted"
A "Filter by Channel group" button

On the old, all channels work and are still listed in the devices

I have tried on both Chrome and Edge. The New is Win11 and the old is Server 2016

Any suggestions?

I am in UK using an Hauppauge WinTV-soloHD DVBT Tuner,  there are many radio channels available as part of freeview programs (DVB-T)

I found those radio channels can be successfully played via KODI nextPVR client (in Radio) without problem but on sevrer PC in windows using nextPVR desktop app most will either not playing,  playing but no sound, or simply crash the desktop app.

I tried to change the decoder setting in audio decoders, but there are not many choices to select (either LAV audio decoder or Microsoft DTV-DVD decoder),  it doesn't change the symptom.  also no change check "only use mapped audio decoders during .ts playback" on or off

I have created multiple recording directories and would like to set different recurring recordings to go to different directories.  When updating a recurring recording that is type of Advanced, the directory selected does not persist on the UI.  

See the attached screenshots.  In the example, I have an advanced recurring recording titled Tonight Show.  I set the directory to "shows" and I can see this reflected in the database.  However, when I refresh the UI and go back to the recurring recordings the directory shows as "Default".  When I look at a pending recording, that also shows as "Default" even after a full EPG update.

I have also observed that when changing the directory for one advanced recurring recording, then when you open another advanced recurring recording the directory is still set to the value from the previous recording.  For example, I have recurring recoring A and recurring recoring B.  I set A to directory "shows", then go into B and see that it too is set to "shows".  If I set B to "sports" then when I go back to A it is set to "sports".  From what I can tell, it looks like the UI is not loading the directory value from the database all the time.

I am running version 5.2.7.220410 on Docker.

Hi all

After trial & error - I finally have my IPTV setup mostly working. 

The only issue now is most of the channel icons don't load on one playlist.  

I have attempted to readd the playlist, change image sources, restarting the server- hotlinking from another source - all produce the same result. 

Posting here is a last resort.

Not sure this would be here in NPVR or Kodi.. but.. I have noticed for some time when I play audio urls through other players..vlc in particular, that the stream has various information along with it. Is it possible to add that in or has someone made something. I haven't looked any deeper, but would it use the same format that is used in digital FM broadcasts..

Any ideas why my fonts are all squished? it's been like it a while just never got around to looking at it. Win10 + latest NPVR.

    I've been struggling with this one for a while now.

When I try to play recordings before early December last year I get an error.

I'm attaching part of the kodi.log where the first item gets the error but the second doesn't.

The nextpvr client plays them fine.

I am running NextPVR v5 and Kodi 19.4 on my laptop

Hi guys - I'm running the latest version of NextPVR running on Debian 11 with all updates applied on an ESXi 7 virtual machine with 2vCPU's, 4GB RAM and a 60GB HDD.

I have added my IPTV M3U8 playlist and EPG (source is Xeev for both)

I have found that several channels I receive a transcoder failure using either the web player or the Android client.

I cleaned my logs and have attached the log after attempting to play one of the problematic channels (ITV 4 FHD)
