I tried installing your latest DVB Radio Plugin. I did the Lame.ax filter using the BAT and manualy. Installed the service but it wouldn't play. I tried for 2 days, it scanned and found 20 channels but no sound although it was using a whole core of the CPU.
I eventually decided to download the previous version and whey hey, it works
Thanks for the plugin and for the amount of time you spend on making it work so people like me can enjoy it.
EDIT I have three channel logos missing and I can't find a channels.csv file to edit can someone enlighten me?
When I try to do a channel-scan I get this error message "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check that the device is configured properly and not already in use."
The device is not used but im not 100% sure it is configured correctly. I only use default values (exept for the satelit selection and diseq).
Im not sure what to do. What I have done is to try and update the driver for the card. Im using the BDA driver.
GBPVR detects these two DVB card models on my machine "Skystar HD2" and "Twinhan AD-SP300". What I have is a AzureWave AD-SP400(Twinhan AD-SP400) (same driver as the Twinhan card). "Skystar HD2" and "Twinhan AD-SP400" should be the same, so I installed the "Skystar HD2" driver (because it is newer version). This driver does not work for me though.
I just got my 2250 setup and working and I recorded 2 shows last night. When I watch them, everything is fine until about 2/3 of the way through, the video jumps back to an earlier part of the recording and the time line is messed up (IE, it says the recording is 85 minutes long and there are unusual commercial spots) If I hit fast forward, it no longer skips through the video, but "plays" it really fast and when i get to roughly the same place, it then again jumps back, so I cannot watch the end of the show.
Under processing I have comskip run during recording (always worked fine with analog recording) Should I have it convert TS to Mpeg2 in order for it to skip commercials properly?
I'm having difficulty with this one.
I'm using the map digital chanels options and am using the k-world dvb-s 100 card.
1. the scan finds some but not all of the freesat channels (leaves out bbc3, bbc4 )
2. When I subsequently try to view those channels I get a black screen.
Also, The manual channel alignment with the epg imported channels is very hard. For each of the 25 freesat channels I'm have I have to wade thru 650 scanned channels in the drop down. Thats a difficult visual search as the scanned channels are not in alphabetic order. Any easy or manual way of setting up channel aligment.
I'm wondering if anybody is using 'dvbguide' to get their satellite channel listings, and has successfully combined this with ultraxmltv?
I'm running the latest version (1.2.152) and always get the following:
Run-time error '13': Type mismatch
... when I get to record twenty something thousand. For example record 26610/37708. I would like to diagnose the problem in more detail, but the logs don't seem to show anything. They just end at "Start Processing 37708 records ..." (and then a warning about 'not commited').
In case anyone is wondering, I use dvbguide because I can get listings over satellite instead of the net (I don't have internet access - long story). It also seems quite a bit faster than e.g. xmltv. I use it instead of the built-in DVB EPG, because it has data for seven days or so. I'm pretty new to all this, so if there is a better way of doing this that will solve my problems, please feel free to make a suggestion.
I was also wondering if the source code for ultraxmltv is publicly available? It would help in diagnosing these sorts of problems I think ...
I have been an avid user of GBPVR for almost 4+ years now - incredible program. Well this old user has decided to upgrade his PVR and add a digital card Hauppauge 1800 to my existing 500. I have gotten everything set up and running! - Thanks to rob11252 for the great guide on the wiki! I am have been using schedules direct as my EPG source (set up through GBPVR). - My problem is, I have and need the same channel info for both my OTA and cable channels, but I need separate channels. For example channel 4 is KNBC here in LA and on cable. What I need is for 4KNBC on cable to be 4 and then to have a duplicate listing (with the same info) at another number (104 etc) - so I can differentiate between the OTA and cable listings and choose which one to record. - How can I make this happen?

Figured it out! - If anyone runs into the same problem, what you can do is on Schedules Direct you can create multiple lineups - including both the ATSC and cable data, when GBPVR downloads the file it puts it all together, you simply have to deactivate the ATSC listings in the EPG of the analog capture cards, and activate the new EPG listings just for the ATSC (my1800) card.
Is there a link to a 1.2.9 version of GB-PVR. Trying to upgrade on a machine infrequently used and Vista is pukeing about the missing .msi installer package (probably deleted in a clean up)
The problem Im having is that I can not access my computers HDs from my PCHs after the computer comes out of hibernation. However, I am able to browse the network using the "Network Browser" but as soon as I select something with content in i get the "An Error has occurred....." message. I have to restart each PCH and everything works fine again.
I have three tuners (2 QAM and 1 ATSC)
The two QAM tuners (HDHR) receive all stations except CBS HD (as referenced in another thread) so I've unchecked that station for these two tuners.
The ATSC tuner receives all channels including CBS HD.
There's a few problems.
The shows in bold are CBS HD and should be using tuner 10 which is the only tuner that is set to receive that channel so those will end up failing.
There is just one show set to record and two shows that won't because of "conflicts." I put the info in pending.log-form.

So it looks like two of the three tuners should be enough to handle these shows. Since Hereos is using tuner 8 that means tuner 10 would be available to record the two shows on CBS HD.
I'll attach logs and I can include more if needed. This is not the first recording conflict issue I've had since the upgrade but it's the first with multiple shows being marked as conflicts in a single hour.
