what are the variations on {DEST_FILE} [and source] we can use in ffmpeg transcodes?
i remember seeing a list a long time ago but can't find it and asssume it's changed a bit since then...
tried DEST_PATH and DEST_EXT but no go..
I've select mce as my blaster and configured the buttons 1 to 10 but I cant find anywhere in the gbpvr wiki that shows me how to assign a transmission code to each of my channels.
eg bbc is 101. I have it as channel number #1 so it appears in the live tv list 1st, and in the other channels mapping tab it is assigned to number 242 (the sat channel on my tuner) but where do I assign the code 101 to send to the digibox?
I have rearranged the Utilities page and side bar menu to be like the latest efforts with the Plugins and skins. The Utilities need to be categorized more and more lists made, but it is a start from where it was before.
I use KM Player to watch my recordings, and it would be nice if the file names created by GBPVR included not just the show name, but the episode name as well.
Is there a way to shutdown after a recording has completed. When i say shutdown I mean shutdown the pc. I have read numerous posts but have yet to locate one that says someone has done this.
I have been playing around with the settings for last couple days trying to figure out the best way to configure client/server. I have both, PC Clients as well as a PCH, feeding off a GBPVR server. Per advice from sub as well as others in various posts, I setup the digital side of the HVR1600 to use TS Mux and 'File sharing' mode.
With this setup, I was able to stream shows on the digital tuner of the HVR 1600 to the client PC just fine. However, if on the client PC, I then switched to a channel on the analog tuner, GBPVR would just go back to the TV Guide on the client PC. If I switched to Streaming mode with the Cyberlink mux, I was able to watch shows on either tuner just fine. I didnt notice any obvious errors in the log files on the server or client PC's but can try to reproduce the error and post the logs when I get home. Just wondering if this is/was a known issue, maybe with my current version of GBPVR that has been fixed in more recent versions?
This may not be the correct place for this question but here goes anyhow.
I just put a new-to-me headless client machine in the living room entertainment center. It's working like a champ but it does need attention from time to time. My preferred method is to use LogMeIn.com, a service that my IT guys use all the time to assist our company's remote users.
The problem I have is that the PVRX2 interface does not display using this remote access tool. To get anything done I have to launch Task Manager, kill PVRX2 and then I can do what needs done.
I'm sure there is a solution and that the folks at LogMeIn can help but I'd like to know more about how the PVRX2 interface is implemented.
