Version 1.3.7 of GBPVR creates some unusual behavior for me.
I cannot get rid off of the issue when switching channels between analog and digitial (using Hauppauge 1800) this GBPVR often hangs for like 10 secs then finally switches channel but audio stays completely out of sync (about 5 secs). I didn't have such problem with former GBPVR 1.2.13
When I minimize GBPVR Windows Vista shows error popup PVRX2 needed to close (it's still running though) and mentions something about DEP error.
At this point I have to close GBPVR and start it again. Sometimes it has no effect, e.g. I cannot run Live TV (nothing happens when I click it) and need to restart Windows or other times it starts working normally (without system restart).
Logs attached please help. Also it's not my decoders, I use the same on every system. Only this version of GBPVR generates such errors.
Sometimes GBPVR leaves its image on the screen after exit. Doesn't affect anything - just have to maximise a window to clear it, and click the (<) on the task bar. Screenshot from a different time than logs, but logs from a time when the same thing happened.
Hi Sub
During the previous release you told me to write you if I had the same problem with the new one....well, things are going worse !
With the previous release the config could find only 5-7 dbvt channels instead of the about 60 that the relaese 0.9xx was used to find. Now , with 1.3.11 the config hangs and Windows XP shows me the well known error note.
I've been using GBPVR 10213 for several months for OTA recordings with no problems. This week the Lost recording tried to start but crashed. There were many recordings scheduled to include a previous Lost recap. I have the 2250 and a Fusion for a total of 3 recorders. I have the ZIP of the logs but I'm not posting as I am assuming I need to upgrade to 1.3.11.
After upgrading to 1.3.11 and applying the multi record patch FF is no longer reliable in MYHD. Currently using TS MUX. I will try FULL TS and see if the problem goes away.
I've seen how file names are matched, for example in utorrent rss.
If I could supply the config of moviewiz some regular expressions to use I think
it would be a great improvement. It could actually come preloaded with regexps for the most common file name formats, plus maybe a list of characters to convert to space (such as "-.").
I changed the tv mode from auto to 720 and now all I see is snow. Hard resets don't work so exactly how do I get the tv mode set again? Tried TV mode +0, TV mode +1 and it didn't work. Just couldn't leave well enough alone.
And, searching the PH forum is much more work than it should be. Is there such a thing as too much info?
I use PVRX2 1.3.7 along with renamerecordings in the post-processing.bat
Is there a way to exclude special characters from the file name?
The PCH cannot play files especially something like "Lost - Because you left; The lie.mpg"
I could just rename them manually and then watch them from Video library I guess. If this can be done automatically I would like to know.
Thanks!
If the source is an H264 video (didn't try a .mkv) in a .ts, I can't find any combination of settings with either vlc or wmp that will stream the video. I have vlc 0.86i (latest I think) on the server and WMP 11 or VLC 0.98a on the client. I can stream mpeg2 videos fine. Any ideas?
