I don't know if anyone can help here: I have a PC running GBPVR within a School network so teachers can record programs as required to use in lessons.
The network is protected by an ISA and the guide is portalised on the ISA server so it can be accessed from the internet. Within school, it all works fine - you can log in and do whatever you need. However, from the internet,although the guide displays fine and you can see the details of the programmes if you click on them, you just can't schedule the recording.
The pop-up window gives a javascript error " Line1 Char1 Error 'Webform_PostBackOptions' is undefined. Code 0 "
I did a clean reinstall of Windows (and all the other stuff) on my HTPC. Now GBPVR is not giving any sound when playing ts-files. That's the case for new and old recordings. The old recordings where played with sound in GBPVR before the reinstall.
Avi and the other stuff work, only ts is broken. VLC-player plays everything with sound.
I just built an HTPC using the Asus P5N7A-VM. I finally was able to get the sound to work through HDMI using the Nvidia driver, but I still can't get any sound when using GBPVR. I've explicitly changed the audio renderer to Nvidia HDMI to no avail. Are there any other settings that may help?
For some reason or another, when I am inside "Live TV' or "TV Guide" the numbers on the remote do not work. I can change the channel just fine using the "up" and "down" channel changer but not by pressing the numbers themselves. If I want to go to another channel, I have to scroll. I tried using the "Debug Client" (installed with IR Server suite) but it blasts the remote just fine and "IR Server Suite" is able to learn the channels from my set-top box remote just fine as well. Not sure what is going on here?
I've been running GBPVR for a few years now, and it's performed great for my analog days, but am really relying on it more for HD now. I find my Analog recordings turn out just fine, and playback on anything I download (HD or SD) looks great, but my HD recordings are not always reliable. I get some audio sync issues with 720p, and any HD seems susceptible to tearing, skipping, and altogether crappy recordings (Not always, but not reliably good). I've found ts mux seems to work the best on my recordings, but am wondering if maybe my hardware needs an upgrade? Here's my specs:

I know this is simple but I haven't figured it out yet....
I have GBPVR 1.3.7 running fine on one PC. I have it running as client on two other PCs using file sharing (works better than streaming over wireless). All PCs are running WinXP Pro SP3. The server is wired to the router and the two clients are wireless G. I know the issues with wireless, but I don't think this is related.
On the server and one wireless client PC, everything works fine. Videos play fine and audio is fine.
On the other wireless client PC, videos play for maybe 10 seconds with no audio and then they freeze. If I try to play the same file (still over the network) in WMP11, the same thing happens, and the WMP process hangs and will not shut down. I have to kill the WMP process using task manager.
I checked the codecs on the server and the client that doesn't work and made sure the same codecs were present and in the same order. Still doesn't work.
GSpot says the codecs required are installed, but the names it shows don't match anything in th elist of installed codecs.
I find this whole video / codec thing intensely frustrating and confusing. Is there any easy way to sort it out?
Ive just found this plugin and am excited to use it, however I am unable to get past the Updated list download. When I say yes to download the updated list it just sites there saying please wait...
I manually downloaded the list from your site and tried placing the zip file in the movie cache folder and in the plugin folder. I also tried extracting it to both folders. My best guess is that I am just not getting it to the proper location.
I did redirect the movie cache folder to a different path, C:\media\Watchnow if that makes any difference. And when I attempt a download I see a movielist.zip file created but it remains empty.
If I click to not Dl the updated list it lets me into the plugin, but there are no movies listed despite there being data in the manually downloaded movielist.xml file.
i couldnt find the SDU plugin support area, i hope someone can help me though!

what am i doing wrong? do i have to put <SaveSchedulesDirectXML>true</SaveSchedulesDirectXML> in my conifg.xml?
