I started using the plugin and it works great, I find that it doesn't find the titles well when seperated by '.' or other characters instead of spaces, but works fine with a little manual effort.

I have noticed that the images are sometimes not being saved along with the XML files. I have also found a pattern. When the movie is found without manually entering the title the image is saved. When you have to enter the title in manually to find it, the image is not saved. In both cases, the image is displayed in the metadata grabber GUI. (or actually this might have been if you have to use Alternate lookup vs found on first lookup, can't remember).

Can anyone else confirm this problem?

I have done the following with this version:

• Tidied up some code
  
• Added the Escape key as a back out of folders/emulators similar to video Library
  
• Added folders for directories
  
• Removed the [DIR] prefix from Directories
  
• using the parent item in the list works different than the escape this is intentional
  

GBPVR (pvrx2.exe) > Recordings > The TV Show > Episode

When I click on the Episode, I am immediately sent back to the main menu with "Recordings" highlighted.

I've tried many things, but am really confused on this one?

Any suggestions?

I upgraded to 1.3.7 recently and suffered from stuttering in SD TV, which was never a problem before. I have discovered that the CPU usage is up around the 60-80% mark with spikes to 100%. I investigated further and found that with PVRX2 turned off I still got spikes to about 80% every 10 seconds on the CPU until I turned off the GB-PVR recording service, at which time they went away. Turning the service back on again brings them back immediately.

My stats are as follows:
AMD Atthlon 64 3200+
2 GB RAM
2 Leadtek DTV1000T tuners
NVidia GeForce 6600
GB-PVR 1.3.7
Windows XP SP3

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I found an old thread with similar symptoms, but it claimed that they had been fixed in a previous upgrade.

I have just upgraded from, um, a previous release, to 1.3.7. When I record more than 1 channel from 1 multiplex I end up with a zero length file for one recording. Any ideas?

Is is possible to remap the buttons for an MVP remote? I prefer to use the recordings screen instead of videos, and I would potentially like to remap the Picture button as well.

Alternatively, is there any sequence of remote buttons that could be used to return to a known position in the menu? I am programming a Harmony for use with my MVP, and I could script my way through the menu if I had a way to return to some known home position.

When you select a show and it pops up the recording options dialog, if you highlight a button and then hit DOWN, it makes the button larger width.

I leave pvrx2 running and suspend the machine. When it wakes up to start a recording pvrx2 fails with a message about the video render not supported and has to be restarted.

The render is VMR9 Fullscreen Exclusive. pvrx2 runs fine once restarted.

I'm running 1.3.7 with the patches applied in the "v1.3.7 survival guide" thread. Running WinXP SP2 on a Nvidia 730i with an E8400 and 4 GB RAM. Nvidia vidoe driver is 178.13 which is pretty new. I've got a newer driver, but something makes me think race condition from resume before the system is completely re-inited.

gb-pvr mvp crash when playing mpg1 video from my video.
I have not been able to play any video through mvp.

At the risk of looking lazy, I'm looking for some help with installing a new HD in my PCH. I've spent the last 2 weeks wiki-ing and searching but the NMT website is huge. First, formatting my new 500GB Seagate gets to 70% or so and fails. Says to reboot and try again or the HD is bad. I've not formatted in NTFS yet but I'm doubtful it's a bad drive. So, what else might I do? Is there any way to format this like a Windows drive and use it as such? I'm not good with Linux (except some minor Ubuntu stuff).
I simply want to drag files from XP/Vista to the hard drive in the PCH and that's it.
