I did have this going and then playing with the drivers a bit when I moved my tuner cards around (had to since I have a new graphics card that uses more than one slot....)

But anyway, TV1, TV2 is fine, but tv3 doesn't see to record properly.

On the pvr system audio comes through, but no video, this also happens on the popcorn.

I'm guessing drivers, but last time I ran hwclear I had to re-install drivers for the pvr500 and the hvr3000.

Trying to setup my two HAUPPAUGE 1600 cards for digital channels i get from an antenna. Also have a 150 card but that doesnt have digital tunner.

I have been useing for an EPG mc2xml.110mb which worked fine for analog cable TV that i get through Time Warner. But i recently got an antenna so i can get the HDTV over the air. I cant seem to get mc2xml.110mb to work correctly.
When i go to set it up i get these choices

if i choose number 14 which is what i think i should,, i get nothing it doesnt download anything and no xml file is made. If i choose number 12 it downloads listing and makes a xml file but only gets analog channels .

So since mc2xml.110mb EPG grabber doesnt seem to work what other options do i have that will work getting the listings for over the air hdtv channells??

What iam looking for is basically just nbc abc cbs and fox. The programming is the same as the analog cable TV. In other words if cable TV (analog) listing shows the TV show House on Fox at 8pm its the same for HDTV fox. Just trying to be able to record HDTV from the main TV networks.

I'm having a problem detecting any channels in GBPVR with a HDHomeRun tuner using comcast digital cable. I'm only able to find channels when hdhr/setup/tuner is set to digital cable and application is set to atsc/remap. I'm limited to 68 channels in this case.

I'm using gbpvr 1.3.7 although I've also tried 1.2.13.
The HDHR firmware is hdhomerun_windows_20081208beta1, and I was using the previous non-beta with the same results.
I've set everything up per the instructions at http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5449

I've tried the custom application and gbpvr application settings the HDHR setup utility. Neither work.

Does anyone have any insight into what might be wrong?

Hi everybody. First post.

Just installed GB PVR, after using the completely idiot-proof Meedio Yahoo TV Go! for awhile, until Yahoo decided to stop having TV listings.

Anyway, the DVR was working fine under that software; the capture card worked and recorded. I installed GBPVR, configured everything, and well... it is not working there. First, the specs:

Pentium 4 2.53 Ghz
256 MB RDRAM (I know, too little. I don´t care much about image quality and RDRAM is hard to find)
Haupagge PVR150
Two HD, one internal (120 GB) the other one external (500 GB)
On board sound.

Things I have done to make this thing work:

- On setup, the PVR150 is configured as the Wiki says. No complaints there.
- Codecs are all on system default. I have tinkered with them to no avail.
- I have changed and played with the Live Preview. On, off, set the directory, nothing.

When I get into GBPVR and go to live TV, I get a black screen, and nothing else happens. I can not record shows (GBPVR says it is recording, but I can´t see the video), and I can not watch on GBPVR stuff recorded on Yahoo Go! TV (black screen, sound only). I can watch all the rest of movies and videos I have on the HD, including DivX, MPEG4, MPEG1 and AVIs.

I am pretty sure it is something deeply stupid, but I can´t seem to find it. Any help? I will post the error log this afternoon when I have access to the computer.

Ok today my two Hauppauge DVB-S2 turned up from Dell, bargin at £40 each inc VAT and delivery.

Question is my system seems stable, so do I fit? Does the S2 offer anything at this time.

If I fit I can of course sell my two Compro S350 cards so thats probably the answer, of should I just hang on to them for the minute and fit when they become more relevant.

My epg has completely stopped working recently. I've been using zap2it for a little over a month with good results, but starting last week several chunks of time would have one show stretched across multiple hours. Finally yesterday it stopped working all together and I get no program information for any show at all.

I haven't changed anything in the updageepg.bat, and the xmltv.xml file is working and seems to have all the channel and show information. Any ideas?

I'm using Multi-Record and I'm getting failed recordings. Tonight 7:30 to 8:30 was taping Flashpoint TV2 and Heroes TV3. Both OK. 8:30 to 9:30 taped Terminator TV2 and Prison Break TV3. Both failed... It looked like everything was recording but at the end all I see is a 0 Byte file. This seems to happen quite regularly for back to back recordings using Multi-Record. Any soltuions, problem diagnosis? Logs attached.

Hi, I wouldn't mind making a plugin to give my ML3 a web presence....perhaps even a random playlist....

What do i need to develop a plugin?

Should open the gbweb.sln and add "Season Recordings" to it - I hope not as it failed miserably for me.

I took a copy of Season Recordings, renamed the directory as ML3 and made a landing page, but I could even make it show up in the Tabs at the top.

So I come here asking for a bit of a how to.

I just downloaded gbpvr last night, and have been trying to set it up. i want to set it up on 2 pc's, but at this stage i am only trying to get it going on one of them.

the problem is that when i set up the capture device in config, it scans, but all i get is channel 10 and channel 10 hd. each time it scans I get these 2 channels, so I end up with about 20 copies of channel 10.

I'm running xp, and have a leadtek dtv200h

the other pc i want to try it on is a vista machine, but i haven't tried it on that one yet. the card listed in the device manager of that machine is a hauppauge wintv-hvr 67xx

any ideas?
