TVGuideVisibleMinutes - the tag in config.xml that allows you to set how much EPG time is displayed in the client on a page does not work - for a few versions now. but up to now i was using the old interface client. with this new 1.3.7 release (upgraded from 1.2.9) the old interface refuses to load so i have to use pvrx2.
any hope to get a patch or possibly consider this for the next version? 2 hours is just too little to show at once - i had it set up for 4 hours (240 mins).
I'm using graphRecorder for firewire capture from my Motorola STB. I've pretty much got it working for recording and preview (after finally getting a mux that works, turned out I needed the ATI mux). I'm also using firewire for channel changing. This is based on the timmmoore and ex-deus firewire driver packages and channel changer program.
I configured the channel changer exe from within graphRecorder and have no channel changer selected in the GBPVR config. Since the STB takes some time (3-5 secs as far as I can tell) to establish a stream after a channel change, I have both of the channel change delays in graphRecorder set at 10 secs (10000 msec). Lesser settings resulted in broken graphs (the decoders inputs were not connected (looking at lastgraph with Graphedit)); I'm assuming because the firewire capture device did not yet have valid outputs. However, if a graph is established, I can change channels (with the channel up/down button) reliably. The problem only occured when selecting Watch from the TV guide.
Now the questions:
Is it correct to use the channel changer from within graphRecorder and have no channel changer in the GBPVR capture source setup screen?
How are the channel changer delays in graphRecorder related to establishing/activating the graph specified in the graphRecorder configuration? How are the two delay settings related?
I have a graph specified for preview, but none for preview to timeshift. Is this OK if I never intend to timeshift live TV?
I just replaced my old D-Link DI-524 wireless router which worked via a wireless connection with my MVP for several years but it was beginning to have hang-up issues, so I replaced it with a new D-Link DIR-628 router.
My wireless MVP "sees" the DIR-628 router but the router won't assign an IP address to the MVP.
I have the router configured to only use WEP to satisfy the MVP and the router is working properly with the other five things (three wired, two wireless) on my network.
Is anybody else successfully using this wireless router with the MVP?

I'm new to GBPVR and have the server running with no problems. I've used the MuxChecker app and have CyberLink MPEG Muxer v5.0.3906 on all 3 machines.
I have no video or audio trouble on the server, when recording on the server, the files are recorded to .mpg.
On my primary desktop, set up as client, i get audio, no video. The desktop resolution is 1440x900.
My laptop is set as client and gets audio, but garbled video, the desktop resolution is 1024x768.
The difference i've noticed between the desktop and the laptop is that in the log files, the desktop comes up video resolution 0x0 and the laptop shows 720x540.
Am I missing something here? I've searched through all the threads that seemed relevant and shouldn't have a mux problem as all match and am using streaming .mpg. When I use VLC to play back the .mpg file on a remote pc, the file plays back clear with no trouble.
I've just been playing around trying to get my TT S2-3200 to do DVB-S2, I got it working in DVBviewer and updated the sat.ini file, but gb wont find anything on the scan.
sooo...I added a manual entry to the scan cache with all the usual settings in but in the mapping window it still doesnt play ball. What is it in the scan cache that tells gbpvr that its S2?
Has anyone got 2 lines from a scan cache they could post, 1 from a normal DVB-S channel and the other from a DVB-S2 channel.
I recently found that Video Archive causes PVRX2 version 1.3.7 to blow itself away when I used the Community skin. I found the only way to "fix" this was to uninstall the archive plug-in.

In my case Live TV does not display video on MPEG4 DVB-T channels. Recording that channels is working fine, and I can playback recording also with windows media player using ffdshow. Playback of such recording in pvrx2 is also without picture.
When starting Live TV I get sound (and ffdshow audio icon), but no picture. Somehow, ffdshow does not activate in PVRX2. I set "ffdshow video decoder" in Playback H.264 decoder.

I have started having a problem with my client PC in streaming mode.

The server logs dont show anything. I thought it might be a firewall problem but I shut down the firewalls on both machines to no effect. CurrentPort software shows that the client has established on the server port 7968.
The only thing I can see is the findfilterbyname failure above.
