Recently I have been getting errors where PVRX2 blows itself away. This seems to happen only with the Community skin. If I switch back to Blue skin it doesn't seem to happen.

Today, I deleted the Community3 directory and reinstalled the community skin from scratch and still got the error.

In the PVRX2.exe log I get the following entries. Any idea of what is happening?

Just wanted to ask how AvoidDuplicateRecordingsIfPossible>true works. Only at present if I schedule a series recording, in the pending list I get all recurrences of the same episode showing up as pending.
I have got into the habit of manually cancelling each of the duplicate recordings, but I was wondering if I just left them at what stage does PVRX2 realise it is a duplicate and remove it?

I'm not sure how to diagnose the problem but here's a description of the problem.

After a recording, the GBPVR gui freezes if I'm watching an MPEG file (not sure if it affects other files) recording. Once comskip has finished the, gui is fully functional again. I've tried running comskip during a recording and that reduces the freeze time, but there is still that time in between when you want to ffwd or rwd. After the recovery it remembers all my keystrokes and executes them.

I've also tried running comskip manually on a recording while watching and that doesn't seem to freeze the gui and parallel processing doesn't affect it either. It's just after the recording has finished...hmmm could it be a database problem? I've got a ton of recordings.

I don't recall having a problem with this before...but then I haven't been watching and recording as much as before.

I've also defragged my hdd without any effect. My CPU isn't maxing out either. Note that I think it's only when I'm watching a recording not the general gbpvr interface.

I found a previous reference to this error in another thread but it was not able to help me solve this.

I have GBPVR 1.3.7 and installed the latest release of ZProcess2 (ZProcess 2.0.293, ZTranscode 2.1.99). I believe that I have followed the installation process as outlined in the wiki.

Every time I try to run ZProcess, I get a popup on the server "ZTranscode - Run-time error '75': Path/File access error <OK>". This happens if I run ZProcess manually on the server or if I try to view or transcode the "16-9 Pattern.wmv" test file.

Also, you mention a couple of log files, but the only log file that gets created is the ZProcess2.log file, which am attaching.

Do you need any other details?

I have made some (smal) changes to the new SLICK skin.
The menubar is a little bigger (sorry, not the fonts in music or video library) and some backgrounds are darker.
It will include the weather plugin.

The tv-listing have only 4 rows.
I must change the screenname directly in the skin.xml file

if you want to change it back, edit this line.

I hope anyone need bigger fonts to and can make more changes.

USING NEW VERSION 1.3.7 with the slick skin, in 'my videos' i have a movie folder containing (funnily enough) all my movies, each with a movie_name.xml & .jpg file. However when navigating through my movies the .xml file is reloaded as i scroll to each movie, but the image does not change, i.e the first image displayed remains constant regardless of which movie i have highlighted. If i select a movie with no corresponding .jpg file the on screen image dissapears, the next movie i select will then be correctly displayed, but again any subsequent movies i select are still displaying the initial image (in a nutshell the my_movie.jpg files are not being re-queried as i scroll through my list of movies. Hope this makes some kind of sense, any suggestions welcome!

Just looked at wiki again and tweaked another page. I believe that alot of people get put off by the wiki, my observation is that experienced users have got used to its foibles but for a newbie it is so daunting.

Most of it is out of date, nothing is clear and concise, please give views to prove that I am wrong
