Has anyone used this (light or full) and if so, does it work decently for connecting to a Windows 2003 Server?

I'm wondering what the last version that still had GBPVR.exe on it and can I still download it? I have a fairly old laptop that I'd like to run as a client and PVRX2 does not work on it.

I just tried to record a show, and it didn't record. It created the folder, but it never recorded anything. I looked in the logs, and it says
2008-11-10 21:00:00.039 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Conexant 2388x Crossbar

I looked in device manager and it claims the device is there and working fine.
I think I attached the log [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

I am currently having the following problem:

When I scan for clear QAM channels only one channel gets detected (the sports on demand promo channel), but the channels that got detected earlier (meaning with GBPVR 1.1.5 or 1.2.7) or and are still listed (more or less) still work. GBPVR 1.2.13 did have the same problem, but I was silently hoping it would go away

Let me explain the "more or less" part. It takes about 60 seconds until my Fox (WOGXDT) channel gets displayed after I chose the channel number. Sometimes I get a "Channel is currently encrypted" message, but after a while the channel gets displayed. The channels look good, no tearing or artefacts, panning is smooth, so I don't believe it is a signal strength issue.

The attached logs.zip was zipped and attached after doing a full scan (for example not showing WOGXDT at 107.103), closing the config application, then opening PVRX2 and watching WOGXDT for a while.

This link shows the channels that are to be expected to be available im my area.

When I was messing with 1.2.13, my channels seemed to automatically get the same channel numbers as provided by the EPG.

Now with 1.3.7 (clean install), my channels get numbered 1,2,3,etc. I have to go in and manually number the channels; it also won't accept ATSC sub-channel names, like 7.2, 50.4, etc. I found I could just assign the same channel number to each sub, but that's hardly ideal.

The question is though, is this a change with 1.3.7, or is there some other reason this is occurring? Also, is there a way to enter a channel like 50.4? I tried 50-4 also, no dice. 504 would work, but then it would be out of order.

I had setup the web interface (in the latest build) and thought everything was grand. I went in to the guide and when selecting a show the only button at the bottom was Close (take no action)
I can't remember how much later in the evening I tried going into the guide again and now I have the record option! I thought at first maybe I was just selecting a show which had already began or something like that.
So today I went in and lined up two 30 minutes shows to record. They were recorded, everything looks fine.
Just before the last program ended I went into the guide again and dang it! I'm back to the record button missing. This time the programs I'm clicking on are and hour or two ahead of now. After going through 5-6 different programs the Record button is nowhere to be found.
Can anybody shed some light on why the recording scheduler seems to be flaking out?

Hi all,

am currently looking into possibilities to alter the look of the Wiki. Now that GBPVR Main page is down for a while it seems a good time to attempt this, in collaboration. Does anyone know (or are you they) who is currently coming up with the look and feel of the new GBPVR front page, as in http://www.gbpvr.com?

I know that Sub's away for a bit but know I've read some threads about this BUT so much easier to ask than trawl the Forums

Just to me maybe but would be nice to have the look of the Wiki similar scheme to the main page.....

I got everything working with my happauge pvr 1600 my geforce 5500x 2 500 gig sata hard drives 2 gbs ram etc etc...now all I have left is the remote. I have the mediagate mce remote. Il post a pic later. When I plug in the bean bag windows xp can't find the driver. I tried installing HIP but to no avail. Anyone know what to do?

I Have been using my GBPVR server with one DVB-S card for a weeks or so with no issues. Installed second card today, now recordings are pixelating and breaking up.

I am assuming this is because my system is not man enough, or do I need to tweak some settings.

The recordings are all stored on a seperate physical drive to the os and GBPVR, and the server is not used for any other purpose other than recording and serving a PCH.

I have attached my log files and config.xml if they offer any help
