I have two WinTV-PVR-150 running under Vista 32-Bit with GBPVR 1.3.7. One as device#1 one as device#2, both connected to analog cable, same channels and one epg. If I have a look at the status of the recording service after booting vista, I see the two cards sleeping. If I start gbpvr and go to live-tv I get the message, that I can't watch tv, because the device is already in use (something like that, the message is in german so this is the try of a translation ). When I exit gbpvr I can see in the status of the recording service, that one device is busy with Live TV (even I can't see live-tv, because the device is busy) and the other is sleeping. Except from the point that I can't see live-tv even it is shown in the recording service, shouldn't gbpvr switch to the sleeping card? And why does the live-tv not stop in the recording service when I quit gbpvr?
Second question:
If I change the theme in EWA, submit the change and logout, login, I get the default theme again. It would be nice if EWA stays in grey ...

what I'v done:

- GBPVRUiElement created at Activate().
- Set alpha to 24.
- Add it to GetRenderList().

Activate plugin. The alpha is shown as expected.

If I return to main menu and then re-enter the plugin the alpha information is lost:

GBPVRUiElement.alpha: 255
GBPVRUiElement.textureAlpha: 24

what do I miss ?

Of course, the initialization takes place only once.

I ask this because whenever I turn mine on it takes forever to load by which time I have got fed up of waiting.

Do you leave it on ? How do you stop members of the family hitting the power button on the remote!!

I picked up one of these cards recently. It's a clone of the Digiwave 103g and has the conexant cx88 chipset, which is supported natively in GBPVR.

GBPVR finds the card, and I have checked with filtercheck that the dvb.ini settings are 100% correct for this card.

When I attempt to scan for DVB channels, the card runs through the transponders quite quickly and never finds channels.

Anyone had experience with this card before?

Just like many other folks, I can't get past the EWA login page from my work computer. I borrowed my friend's iPhone and everything worked, which convinces me that the problem is with the work proxy/firewall. I know in the past it has been said that there are no plans to revamp the login for firewall-friendly authentication, but I just wanted to +1 the suggestion that it would be useful!

That said, thanks immensely for such a fantastic tool! I'll just have to hit up my friend for his phone when I want to make an update

Would anyone have any insight as to why my recorded programs no longer appear in my "managed recordings" list in EWA or in the PVRX2 interface "recordings" menu?

Here's the catch though! When you verify the "video library" in PVRX2 or EWA you can clearly see that the programs have been recorded.

Is there anyone that has successfully setup any version of GBPVR with a Twinhan 1020a pci DVB-S card and a DishPro dish. My problem is when I try to do a scan I get nothing, but if I let the scan finish I get a unhandled exception error. I have read threw the forums and tried all recommendations without any success. The setting for the lnbs are correct and the modified transponder ini files are correct. I also tried the different diseqc setting in the config file. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I found it sometime ago, possibly on this site, but there was a table that gave frequencies for each channel.

Basically, my TV's QAM tuner gives me Fox HD on channel 94-505. I'm not having any luck with the qam.ini files floating around finding it.

Does anyone know what the actual frequency is, so I can input it manually? Or tell me where to find it.

Uppgraded to latest, then i noticed that gb-pvr crashed if i had to few (5) plugins enabled, if i enabled a couple more (3) then it works like a charm.
Running in Vista!

There seems to be some grafic problem with to few plugins, the error comes when trying to scroll eather way. The screen flickers for a nano sec and then freezes with an error message that can't be bypassed without killing pvr2.exe

not a big problem but it would be nicer if i could only use the plugins i need.

tried to make size in <CompositeImage name="ButtonNormal" size="22,10"> bigger because with only 5 plugins they dont take up the whole screen and therefor there may be trouble with the scrolling effect, but that diden seem to help.

Not to take away from the work that Jaggy has done, which I appreciate alot, with the Blue Retro SHV skin but I took a stab at the altering it to show the new metadata in video library. I know there are some out there like me who still have a standard def 'box' tv so I thought I would throw it out here for you to give a try yourself. It might need a little more tweaking but it works well enought in my opinion.

Just unzip the attachment to the ..\Devnz\GBPVR\Skin2\Blue-Retro-SHV\Video Library directory. Make sure you back up the skin.xml file there first in case you want to change it back.
