Well, I've been using GBPVR for several years now. Unfortunately, I needed to reinstall XP and thus GBPVR. I decided to start over with the latest version, 1.2.1.3. After installing and configuring, the only thing that doesn't work is the EPG.

I am using yapi2xml to pull down the listings. I've confirmed this is working succesfully - there is a 4MB xml file in that directory with all of the tv listings in it. I've deleted and re-created the capture source in config, emptyed the epg, etc, and the TV Guide still says "No show details". I've even followed the instructions in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=37603 to delete the .db3 file and re-create source, etc - and still no luck.

One thing I did notice though, is that when I click "Update EPG" after selecting yapi2xml.xml, it only gets a portion of my channels (only 18 instead of 25). Not sure if that matters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is the config.exe.log as well as the PVRX2.exe.log file.

I can not get HD channels to work. I use fddshow filters but still sound OK no picture. Card is Pinnacle Dual DVB-T PCI (2000i) any ideas?

I don't know if this is a GBPVR glitch or something to do with my particular machine, but I find that some random MP3 files don't play through GBPVR. Probably 99% of them play fine, but it's annoying when an album gets stuck at a bad one.

The odd thing is that the PC can play these same MP3s back just find in WMP.

Any suggestions? I can email the affected MP3s to anyone willing to try and replicate the problem.

When watching TV the pictures goes blocky for a split second then comes right for about 5 seconds....
I have had this problem for the last 4 weeks or so, all except TV3 and C4 have this problem.
I have replaced the LNB and cable but that hasn't made any difference, if anyone has any ideas I could try I would be greatful, other than getting in a dish installer man.

I replaced the video card on my GBPVR machine but don't think that would affect just some channels... but I could be wrong.

Sorry C# noob question

I've been talking with Ubu and playing around with his source in the hope I might be able to support it a little. Currently I am trying to compile UbuStream for .NET 2.0 using VS 2008 but because of the reference to System.Data.DataSetExtensions I am being told that 3.5 is necessary and MSDN seems to agree http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb358258.aspx

Any thoughts?

At least UbuRadio is fine so I can have UbuRadio and Web Radio plugins together.

Just installed the latest version. No errors or unexpected messages.

I have the Hauppauge 2250 tuner. Set up an analog tuner as described in two other posts. Scanned for channels, found what I expected to find.

When I select Live TV I get a flash on screen that seems to have three items on it. The channel list is empty in the config utility.

I've looked at the Wiki. Doesn't look at all like what I am seeing.

Running Windows XP SP3. Athlon X2, 2 GB RAM, ATI 3650 video. Comcast basic cable.

The WinTV app works, sort of. It drops sound on a regular basis.

Any ideas on why GBR won't play NTSC?

Can anyone please advise me on the setup/installation for this USB DVBT device? Thanks in advance

First of all thank you for looking and helping.

I can't seem to watch any digital channels and I've been reading many different forums and wikis over the past few days and I still can't figure it out.

Here are my computer specs
2.8GHz Celeron
Intel GMA900 integrated video
500 GB SATA hard drive
1.5 GB RAM
Realtek HD Audio Card
Hauppage Win-TV-HVR 1600
using latest GBPVR

I seem to be able to watch Live TV analog channels but when I try to watch Live TV digital channels I get the message "No tuners are availalbe to watch the requested channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recording programmes."

What am I doing wrong?

I am a first-time gbpvr user. I was able to successfully install the gbpvr software and configure it using my Hauppauge pvr500. I signed up for an account with schedules direct. Gbpvr was able to connect to the site and download channel information. I am able to change channels one at a time from say 25 to 26 using the remote and also with the mouse. I am able to use the guide, find a channel I want to watch, and switch directly to that channel. What I cannot do is simply use the remote control number keys or keyboard number keys to change from say channel 24 to 82. The numbers will appear in the gbpvr screen, but the channel never changes. Can anyone provide some assistance? Thanks!

I just got a Hauppauge HD PVR, and I've been trying to get GBPVR to work with it.

I can get a very solid and sharp image (and recording) through ArcSoft programme, but I get nothing thruogh GBPVR, despite (as far as I can tell) having set it up properly.

I've got my Sky stb connected through the svideo port on the Hauppauge, and I'm running XP SP3.







Does anyone have any ideas of why it's not working?
