I recently updated the PCH firmware, and GP-PWr does't work anymore. All i get is the "reguest cannot be processed". Telnet won't work so GP-PVR won't work.

I tried the network browsing method and it didn''t work either.

Any ideas how to make it work?

Running Vista with IIS7.

I've enabled my GBPVR web server and set it to be running on port 7777.

When I go to http://localhost:7777 I get:

Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.

I've tried setting it up a web application in IIS7 but that doesn't work either.

I've only installed GBPVR, I haven't installed the Extended Web Admin or whatever it is; do I need to install that or should it work for me out of the box?

I have an existing PBPVR150 which connects to my Sky NZ settop box.
I am adding a HVR3000 which will provide freeview NZ programming
This means I have many of the freeview channels twice, once from Sky and once through freeview.

So my question is where I have channel "TV1" on Sky (set via revens xmltvnz??) and freeviews name of "TV ONE" set via the discovered name over the DVB-S connection, how do I make them the same name so I only get one EPG entry and could watch/record same time?

I have had this wortking previously but cannot seem to get it working again

I've been struggling trying to get this working. I have a feeling it's a combination of video/audio codecs based on everything I've read but I'm not having much luck.

Basic problem is I can hear sound but my video won't work whether it's live video or from my hard drive.

I have a server running gbpvr and a client in the living room. When watching QAM channels on the client, everything is fine (other than strange happenings when i pause tv).

If I try and watch an Analog channel, it is very choppy (skips a little every second or so.)

Is there a setting I need to adjust?

I switched my mux from the Cyberlink 5.0.0.1307 mux to TS mux....when I do this I get high CPU....about 40% or so and the resulting recordings are all digitized/pixilated missing segments, choppy and really just unplayable.

I have attached my recrodingservice log to see if anything sticks out that may be the culprit.

Should any of the options under the Multidec: area on Misc2 tab be checked? None of mine are.

I set up my PVR about 1.5 years ago and used a PVR150. I have been very happy with it, but it is time to add a second tuner and it appears that they are no longer available. So what would be a good replacement. Analog cable TV is what will be used, so that would be all that is required. Cheaper is better in my case, but I also want something that is good quality and well supported. Also must use a PCI connection.

I have two Hauppauge HVR 1600 tuners that are setup for OTA ATSC local channels & basic cable on each. When I record a OTA ATSC program & then try to watch another OTA channel I get a conflict screen. I have both tuners mapped. I have two HDHR units setup for 4 QAM tuners & don't have any problem watching & recording multiple channels at once with those.

Is there something I need to change in the configuration or edit a file?

My search to view QAM programming in my haupage 1800 has led me here.

I was able to seemingly install the application.

Having to open the cmd line and run msiexec /a to allow it was funny.

So it installed.

I am thinking "now what!"

The app is not visible anywhere.

I navigate to where it installed and try to launch the program.

But, which to load? Does a person start with GBPVRTray, with Config, what?

I start with gbpvrtray. Nothing happens. I click on the tray icon. Ok it is obviously not what I want.

I run config.

The program is installed, and everything is in greek. What am I supposed to do next?

I recently opened one of my recorded mpg's in VLC media player and was amazed at how better the picture was. In gbpvr everything looks washed out and sort of blurred, in vlc the picture is sharper and colors are much more vibrant. I can't seem to make the vids in gbpvr look anywhere near as good as they do in vlc player.

So far, this is what I've tried:

1. Changed vmr settings
2. Tried each of my available video decoders
3. Updated graphics card drivers
4. Defragged the system
5. Smashed head against wall

And after all that, I'm left with the same picture I started out with. Can someone help me out with this? I'm about ready to throw in the towel.

BTW I only watch gbpvr on my computer monitor, there is no tv attached.
