I can not stream HD channels to my client PC. Standard definition channels stream fine. I have been able to successfully stream HD channels using this same server/client setup using DVB Dream. I get a black screen with no audio or video.:confused: Logs attached.
When I open the DVB-T radio program inside PVRX2 I get prompted to scan for channels, I press yes, it says scanning for channels, and then that box disappears, and I'm left with still a blank channel menu without any way of listening to channels, etc.
I think after I have tried to install this program, it seems to have deleted the TV channel names, so I can't see any channel names in the original TV guide.
I am trying to setup GB-PVR for the first time. I have the system largely setup and working (though it could use some performance tweaks). But there is one problem that I have been unable to solve. I can successfully change channel in live preview mode, but not in timeshift mode and scheduled recordings do not seem to attempt a channel change.
My capture source is set up as an external tuner (Dish 311) using an .exe channel changer that signals winLIRC to change the channel via a homebrew ir blaster. winLIRC works, the exe works in a command window, and the exe works in Live Preview mode. When I run in windowed mode I don't see any winLIRC activity when I attempt to change channels, suggesting my .exe is not being run.
Well, I have traded one issue for another. I switched to "TS Mux" to get the raw .ts files out of my hauppaugh hvr1600 with the latest gbpvr. That worked great - now I have beautiful HD captures in perfect sync.
Bad news is, you can't effectively navigate them in pvrx2. As long as you just play/pause, its all good. 30 second and 1 minutes skips freeze, take forever, or just don't work.
Am I missing something else? Should I be transcoding the .ts file after recording? What would be a good way to do that?
I found this great Music Album Art Downloader program on SourceForge.
It is lightning fast and searches 22 websites at once for cover art.
It requires .Net 3.5, but it worth installing it if you are looking for cover art.
I asked the author Alex Vallat if it was possible the recompile the command line program AAD.exe for .Net2, but that need rewriting of the code.....so that will not probably happen. That would have been a great feature for music plugins to use....just to send Artist and Album tags to the command line and cover art would appear "magically".
When I click on the Recordings button, the Recordings screen appears for less than a second, with an empty rectangle with rounded corners in the space where the recordings normally are displayed, then it drops back to the main menu. The only changes I have made recently have been to the playback decoders and the renderer. I usually use the web admin to schedule and manage recordings, so I don't know when this "broke". I am using the Community3 skin, but I tried switching to Blue, and it does the same thing.
I hope this is the right place to post this question. I am using a MCE 2005 remote with dual blaster capability. I also have a MCE keyboard/remote that works with above ir receiver. If I use the standard usb ehome driver that comes with Media center and insure that ehtray.exe is running I can use the keyboard fine. Since I changed the driver to msecir.sys and disabled ehtray.exe the keyboard no longer works. I realize that I can program it from with in HIP manually. I noticed that HIP comes with an MCE config file as if one was to use it with media center. My question is, Is there a way to dynamically change the HIP input config? So say I select Internet browser and hide GBPVR. Now firefox has full focus. Could I then swith configuration files into HIP and thus have wireless keyboard fucntionality. Or is there another way to do this that Im missing?
